She's the ballroom dancing beauty who wowed audiences on the first three seasons of Dancing With the Stars. 

And on Tuesday Kym Johnson, 40, turned heads on the red carpet at the 14th Annual Red Dress Awards presented by Woman's Day Magazine in New York.

The leggy blonde wore  a skin-tight red lace dress with sheer cut outs that gave glimpses of her tanned skin.

The short frock, which included a high neck, clung to the dancer's slender hips and flattered her slender figure. 

The frayed edges skimmed her shapely thighs while a pair of nude heels gave the illusion of even longer legs. 

Kym kept her make up simple with a pale nude lip, rosy cheeks and black lined eyes that accentuated her baby blues.  

Diamond stud earrings, a glistening ring and glittering silver clutch completed the look. 

Aussie Kym Johnson is married to Shark Tank millionaire Robert Herjavec, who she wed on 31 July 2016 in Los Angeles.

Kym was joined on other celebs on the event, held at the Jazz at Lincoln Center Appel Room.

Boxer Laila Ali, daughter of legendary boxer Mohammad Ali, was hard to miss in a sequined plum toned mini dress that complimented her curves. 

The youthful 39-year-old showed off her shapely legs in the short frock, with complimentary strappy black heels adding to the effect.

A pale plum lipstick matched her dress and her make up was glowing with a touch of highlighter and smoky eyes making for an eye-catching look. 

She wore her long hair in loose waves that fell across her collar bones. 

Also in attendance was Glee star Jane Lynch, who looked smart in a fitted black suit, black dress shoes and a red shirt peeking from under her jacket.

Singer Melissa Etheridge also made an appearance, wearing a grungy pair of tight black jeans with spray paint style pink streaks down the legs. 

She matched the jeans with a fringed black shirt and a shiny black leather jacket, her blonde hair loose over her shoulders. 

A touch of red, which was the theme of the event, appeared in a section of the leather on her jacket.
