Water: your brief and video tutorial for the February Clique Challenge

Theme: Water
Deadline: Monday, February 20 at 12 noon AEDT

Your February Challenge is “Water”.

Entries must have a strong water element and can range from swimmers at the beach, to a baby’s first bath. From raindrops on parched earth in the outback, or a backyard water fight.

Submissions with or without a human element are eligible and entries can fall into several categories of photography, including landscape, daily life/photojournalism, and sport.

Fairfax photographer Janie Barrett joins us for the February video tutorial with accessible advice on making a strong entry for the Water Challenge.

The winner of the February Challenge wins a Clique prize pack, including:

  • Nikon camera equipment: This can include cameras, lenses or vouchers from the Nikon Store.
  • Adobe: A 12-month subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud Photography plan.
  • PosterCandy: A custom poster.
  • Fairfax Syndication: A framed 16×20 inch print of your winning photo or a photo from the Fairfax Syndication archive.
  • Fairfax Photographic: A portfolio review by a Fairfax photographer from The Sydney Morning Herald or The Age.

The winner of the Nikon People’s Choice Award for February wins a $500 voucher from the Nikon Store.
