SBS today launched SBS CQ: Cultural Intelligence an online resource to be followed by a televised forum to advance the debate about diversity in Australia.
SBS has launched a Multicultural Television Production Trainee Scheme to provide short-term work placements for participants from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds, including Indigenous backgrounds, on SBS commissioned productions.
SBS has announced that it will broadcast Al Jazeera news from Monday 8
August.
The arrangement will see a half hour Al Jazeera English news bulletin
shown weekdays at 3.30pm, in addition to a full hour on Sunday
afternoons at 2pm, on SBSONE.
