SBS’s digital coverage of the 2013 Tour de France was recognised at the
Australian Sports Commission (ASC) Media Awards in Melbourne last night,
taking home the award for Best Coverage of Sport through Digital Media.

Australia’s most prestigious and iconic short film festival Tropfest
will celebrate its 22nd birthday at its new home on SBS 2 next month on
Sunday December 8 broadcast live from Centennial Park, and the good
news is everyone’s invited.
On Sunday 3 November 10,000 cyclists took part in the annual MS Gong
Ride, cycling 90 kilometres from Sydney to Wollongong and raising money
for the more than 20,000 Australians living with Multiple Sclerosis.

SBS-BA Cycling Team, with 215 riders, was the largest team in the event
for the second year in a row.

Global Television has been awarded the G20 Australia 2014 Summit Host Broadcaster contract. Global will work in partnership with SBS to produce content for the Host
Broadcast feed, contributing newsgathering, international news
resources, production and editorial expertise.

ANZ 2013 Awards, held on Friday 18 October. Its subscription TV channel
