In this re-creation of the UK glam rock scene of the early '70s, British journalist Arthur Stuart investigates the rise and fall of his childhood hero, glam superstar Brian Slade. In order to escape his stage persona, Slade faked his own death onstage, which marked the end of his career as fans eventually discovered the plot.
