So no wonder Sarah Silverman was looking so upbeat at a Los Angeles airport on Tuesday after incorrectly being taken as being the daughter of Kate Beckinsale on social media.

The self-styled comedienne looked full of the joys of life as she got ready to jet out of California.

And it seems the funnywoman has been secretly sipping away at the Fountain Of Youth, as she still looked far from her age despite opting to go makeup free.

It is certainly no surprise the beauty was recently mistaken to the the daughter of her lover's former partner.

The hilarious case of erroneous identification came when Kate Beckinsale, who is three years younger than the comic, posted a picture of them both out to dinner with a large group of friends on Saturday.

Adding to the unmitigated hilarity of the mix-up, Sarah is actually the long-term partner of Kate's ex Michael Sheen.

Kate and Michael have a daughter together, 18-year-old Lily Mo Sheen, and Sarah has long been involved in her life.
