The West Australian coast continues to be lashed by wet weather, with the Perth metropolitan area issued a flood warning on Wednesday - joining much of the northern parts of state already experiencing dangerous conditions.
The Swan River and Avon River catchments are expected to flood from Thursday with drivers urged to be careful at crossings and floodways as river levels may rise rapidly.

The Department of Fire and Emergency Services has advised people to stay out of the rivers and not swim, play or kayak near floodwaters.
"Watch for changes in water levels so you are ready if you need to evacuate," it warned.
"Do not park or camp adjacent to rivers.
"Prepare to relocate equipment and livestock early so they are not caught in floodwaters."
The warning comes a week after two tourists travelling through Tom Price had their campervan swept away by flood waters in the middle of the night after they scrambled to safety on top of a toilet block.
On Saturday, Marble Bar Police released footage of a truck being swept away by flood waters on a remote Pilbara road in Telfer.

"Widespread rainfall totals of 30 millimetres to 40 millimetres with isolated totals of up to 70 millimetres are forecast in the Swan River and Avon River catchments," it said.
"Similar rainfall is forecast for the 24 hours to 9am Friday."
According to the Department of Water river reporting service, the Swan River was rising at Meadow Street Bridge, in Guildford, while other parts of the river on Wednesday remained "steady".
Flood warnings are also in place for parts of the Kimberley, Pilbara and Gascoyne regions.
The north-west has been ravaged by a number of tropical lows off the coast in recent months, with Cyclone Yvette forming just before Christmas.
The lows have led to much of the Pilbara and Kimberley suffering severe weather conditions, heavy rain, flooding and thunderstorms - while Perth has also copped some unseasonal wet weather as a result of the lows.
