A police spokeswoman said he and a 33-year-old man living at the address were drinking with two others earlier in the night.
"One of them (the victim) said 'you have to leave because I'm working in the morning'," she said.
An argument turned into a fight and one man was hit on the side of the face, she said.
Police said three men fled on foot but were tracked down by the dog squad and were assisting with inquiries.
Two of those men, aged 25 and 31, were facing possible charges.
