Hayley was last seen alive walking along a road near Badgingarra, north-east of Perth, in July 1999 but her body has never been found.
Francis John Wark, 59, has pleaded not guilty to the 17-year-old's murder. He will face court again next week.
Police carried out a major search of a property in Badgingarra in 2013 but found nothing.
In December 2015 special crime squad detectives formally charged Mr Wark with one count of wilful murder following a major review of Operation Bluegum, the investigation into Hayley's disappearance.
Recently Mrs Dodd has been a vocal campaigner for "no body no parole laws."
She launched a petition in 2015 to make it a requirement for convicted murderers to reveal the location of their victim's remains before receiving parole.
WA Labor says it will introduce no body no parole laws if elected.
On Thursday, One Nation issued a press release to announce what it called "a sweeping crime and justice policy" ahead of the March election.
"If Pauline Hanson's One Nation WA achieves the balance of power at the March 2017 state election, we will lobby to increase police resources and toughen up the criminal justice system," the press release said.
