She was once famously involved in a love affair with Ellen DeGeneres.

But those days looked like the furthest thing from Anne Heche's mind as she locked lips with her boyfriend James Tupper at the premiere of TV show Big Little Lies in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

The pair could not resist sharing a smooch as they sauntered down the red carpet at the exciting showpiece occasion.

That put a smile on her face: Ellen DeGeneres' former lover seemed to enjoy their clinch

Anne, 47, was looking great for her age in a smart black and blue hemline, which boasted an adventurously high hemline that showcased her perfect pins to the maximum.

Actor James, who she met when they starred in Men in Trees, looked dapper in a blue suit, matching shirt, tie and leather shoes.

The mother-of-two reportedly left her husband Coleman Laffoon in 2007 to hook up with the the handsome thespian, and they have been together ever since.

Anne split with Ellen in 2000 after a three year relationship, and in September 2001 she married Coleman, a cameraman she met the previous year on Ellen's stand-up comedy tour.
