World No.1 DJ, Hardwell, hot off his epic B2B set with Tiësto closing the main stage on the Saturday of Tomorrowland festival, returns to release a music video for his latest smash single ‘Arcadia.’ Already half-way through a packed summer which has seen him tear up festivals across Europe and the US, kick off his debut Ibiza residency at Ushuaïa and now looking ahead to headlining the Revealed Recordings arena at Creamfields this month, Hardwell has been able to create a music video that visually captures the imagination and mysticism of the original track.
Exploring a fantasy theme and drawing inspiration from the famed Mad Hatters Tea Party scene in C.S Lewis classic novel ‘Alice In Wonderland.” The lead character is drawn into a fantasy world, landing at a tea party with a host of colourful characters, intoxicating her senses and bringing to the fore her alter ego who enchants the audience and draws them to ‘Arcadia.’
Laced with Hardwell's signature sound, ‘Arcadia’ combines all his big room, dance floor sensibilities with infections vocals from in demand singer Luciana. Young talent Joey Dale adds his own distinctive elements bringing together a track, which looks set to head to the very top of the charts. As ever with a Revealed Recordings release the scenes leading DJs has seen this hammered out at clubs and festivals across the world and now rapidly be getting loads of radio airplay. Hardwell: ‘Arcadia’ has been a fan favorite in my sets for some time now. I released a few of Joey’s record on Revealed already as I felt he was a great talent and his sound was so inspirational. After a few sessions in the studio, the instrumental track was born.
We both thought the track needed a vocal though. We reached out to Luciana who I’ve had on my list of artists to work with for some time and she nailed it.

Arcadia
Arcadia (Greek: Αρκαδία, Arkadía) is one of the regional units of Greece. It is part of the administrative region of Peloponnese. It is situated in the central and eastern part of the Peloponnese peninsula. It takes its name from the mythological character Arcas. In Greek mythology, it was the home of the god Pan. In European Renaissance arts, Arcadia was celebrated as an unspoiled, harmonious wilderness.
Geography
Arcadia has its present-day capital at Tripoli. It covers about 18% of the Peloponnese peninsula, making it the largest regional unit on the peninsula. Arcadia has a ski resort on Mount Mainalo, located about 20 km NW of Tripoli. Other mountains of Arcadia are the Parnon in the southeast and the Lykaion in the west.
The climate consists of hot summers and mild winters in the eastern part, the southern part, the low-lying areas and the central area at altitudes lower than 1,000 m. The area primarily receives rain during fall and winter months in the rest of Arcadia. Winter snow occurs commonly in the mountainous areas for much of the west and the northern part, the Taygetus area, the Mainalon.

Hardwell
Robbert van de Corput (born 7 January 1988 in Breda), who performs under the stage name Hardwell, is a Dutch big room house and electro house DJ and music producer. He was voted the World's No. 1 DJ on DJ Magazine's annual Top 100 DJs poll in 2013, and again in 2014. Hardwell is known for his live sets at major music festivals such as Tomorrowland and Ultra. The video streams of his performances on his personal YouTube channel have collectively garnered more than 100 million views.
Hardwell first gained recognition in 2009 for his bootleg of "Show Me Love vs. Be". He founded record label Revealed Recordings in 2010 and his own radio show and podcast, Hardwell On Air in 2011. He has since released six compilation albums through his label, as well as his own documentary film. His debut album, United We Are was released on January 23, 2015.
Early life
Robbert van der Corput was born on the 7th of January 1988 in Breda, Netherlands, where he grew up as well. He started learning classical piano and DJing. Van der Corput was first inspired to become a DJ after watching a documentary about DJs on the Dutch MTV. He was signed to his first record label and he began DJing at reputable clubs across the Netherlands. As a kid, he enrolled at a music-oriented school and the Rock Academy. Three months into the Rock Academy, he was advised to quit and to pursue a career in music immediately, changing his name to Hardwell. He often cited fellow Breda native, Tiësto, as his biggest inspiration and mentor.

The Nights
"The Nights" is a song by Swedish DJ and music producer Avicii. It features uncredited vocals by American recording artist Nicholas Furlong, who co-wrote the song with Jordan Suecof, Gabriel Benjamin and John Feldmann. On 1 December 2014, it was released as a digital download by PRMD Music and Universal Island on Avicii's The Days / Nights, then on 11 January 2015 in the United Kingdom. The song peaked at number 6 on the UK Singles Chart and number 1 on the UK Dance Chart. On 23 January 2015, Avicii released "The Nights (Avicii by Avicii)", his own remix of the song. The song appears on the UK version of Avicii's second studio album Stories (2015).
Background
Furlong noted that he began writing the song as an ode to his father. The inspiration for the “pirate-y fight song” sound came to him while at a bar in Ireland. Furlong recalled:
Furlong sent the original idea, titled "My Father Told Me", to Arash Pournouri, Avicii's manager. Pournouri recognised an immediate draw to the track, saying that the song had that same sense of euphoria which characterises so much of Avicii's music. In an interview with Yahoo! Music, Pournouri said: "It made absolute sense to work on it with Ras...[Avicii and I just needed] to make it more 'us' and that's what [we] did."

United We Are is the debut studio album by Dutch big room house producer Hardwell. It was released on 23 January 2015 through Cloud 9 Music and Revealed Recordings.
Singles
"Young Again" was released as the lead single from the album on 17 October 2014. The song reached number twenty-three on the Dutch Top 100, entered the tipparade of the Belgian Singles Chart, it also charted in Austria.

from wiki: The Promise was the third single released by the Duran Duran offshoot band Arcadia. It was released by Parlophone Records in 1986 as the group's second UK single. It peaked at number 37 on the UK Singles Chart. The single mix for "The Promise" was heavily edited down from the album's hefty 7:28 to a leaner, more radio-friendly 4:45. In fact, even Alex Sadkin and Ron Saint Germain's "Extended remix" clocked in at only 7:05, almost 25 seconds shy of the album cut. Exploring a fantasy theme and drawing inspiration from the famed Mad Hatters Tea Party scene in C.S Lewis classic novel ‘Alice In Wonderland.” The lead character is drawn into a fantasy world, landing at a tea party with a host of colourful characters, intoxicating her senses and bringing to the fore her alter ego who enchants the audience and draws them to ‘Arcadia.’
Laced with Hardwell's signature sound, ‘Arcadia’ combines all his big room, dance floor sensibilities with infections vocals from in demand singer Luciana. Young talent Joey Dale adds his own distinctive elements bringing together a track, which looks set to head to the very top of the charts. As ever with a Revealed Recordings release the scenes leading DJs has seen this hammered out at clubs and festivals across the world and now rapidly be getting loads of radio airplay. Hardwell: ‘Arcadia’ has been a fan favorite in my sets for some time now. I released a few of Joey’s record on Revealed already as I felt he was a great talent and his sound was so inspirational. After a few sessions in the studio, the instrumental track was born.
We both thought the track needed a vocal though. We reached out to Luciana who I’ve had on my list of artists to work with for some time and she nailed it.

Receiving its worldwide release 23rd January 2015, United We Are, is available for pre-order now via iTunes. Showcasing an impressive line-up of collaborations that Jason Derulo, Fatman Scoop, W&W;, Bright Lights, Harrison, Jonathan Mendelsohn, Amba Shepherd, Joey Dale, Luciana Headhunterz, Chris Jones, Haris, Mr Probz, Funkerman feat. I-fan and DallasK, as well as a track together with Tiësto and singer-songwriter Andreas Moe, United We Are is an album primed with club ready hits that will no doubt become the soundtrack to the summer festival season.

Synopsis
“Arcadia” is a female explorer’s journey to a mythical island paradise. The narrative is inspired by stories from Darwin's journals written during his early voyages to the uncharted islands of Tiera del Fuego and the environment of the film explores themes of Arcadia, as brought to life by the paintings of Gauguin and Rousseau. The film is a dreamlike exploration of the universal quest for an ideal paradise that is only found through an open mind and a taste for adventure.
The mythical Arcadia of this film is more specifically a place of feminine healing and liberation, and the island's inhabitants embody an effortless connection with nature, magic, and the feminine divine that is exactly what our protagonist was in need of finding. On the island, she is liberated from the stiff, and proper way that was expected from her in the modern, conformist society from whence she came.
Arcadia has represented a sort of Eden to so many great artists and writers throughout history where free thought, peace, and sensual pleasure are the preferred currency.

Synopsis
“Arcadia” is a female explorer’s journey to a mythical island paradise. The narrative is inspired by stories from Darwin's journals written during his early voyages to the uncharted islands of Tiera del Fuego and the environment of the film explores themes of Arcadia, as brought to life by the paintings of Gauguin and Rousseau. The film is a dreamlike exploration of the universal quest for an ideal paradise that is only found through an open mind and a taste for adventure.
The mythical Arcadia of this film is more specifically a place of feminine healing and liberation, and the island's inhabitants embody an effortless connection with nature, magic, and the feminine divine that is exactly what our protagonist was in need of finding. On the island, she is liberated from the stiff, and proper way that was expected from her in the modern, conformist society from whence she came.
Arcadia has represented a sort of Eden to so many great artists and writers throughout history where free thought, peace, and sensual pleasure are the preferred currency.
The film poses the question

Η Τεγέα ήταν πόλη της αρχαίας Αρκαδίας, προερχόμενη αρχικά από συνοικισμό. Ιδρύθηκε από τον Τεγέα, γιο του Λυκάονα και εγγονό του Πελασγού και ήταν από τις σπουδαιότερες πόλεις της αρχαίας Αρκαδίας, έδρα των τελευταίων μυθικών Αρκάδων βασιλιάδων. Αποτελούνταν από τους δήμους Κορυθέων, Γαρεατών, Φυλακέων, Καρυατών, Οιατών, Βωταχιδών, Μανθυρέων, Εχενιδών, Αφειδάντιων και τις φυλές Ιποθίτιδα, Καριώτιδα, Απολονιάτιδα και Αθηναιάτιδα. Στην πόλη υπήρχε το ιερό της Αλέας Αθηνάς το οποίο είχε κατασκευάσει ο Σκόπας την εποχή που άρχοντας της Αθήνας ήταν ο Διόφαντος. Σύμφωνα με την μυθολογία ο ναός ονομάστηκε έτσι από τον Αλέα εγγονό του Αρκάδα που τον είχε χτίσει. Cadillac Mountain is the highest point on the North Atlantic coast. The scant vegetation of this area is quite surprising especially as it is in such close proximity to the nearby forests. During September, when the first so-called ‘leaf reports’ are announced in the newspapers and on television, there’s an air of excitement. The beginning of the Indian Summer is the time of the ‘Leaf Peepers.’ Whether they travel to the park by car, foot, horse and carriage or by way of a rented mountain bike, visitors to Acadia’s beautiful forests have a wide selection of leaves from which to choose. During fall, the red and orange of the maple trees and the golden yellow hues of aspen and birch melt together in a breathtaking carpet of colour that seems to cover the entire country. Η Τεγέα ήταν πόλη της αρχαίας Αρκαδίας, προερχόμενη αρχικά από συνοικισμό.
Ιδρύθηκε από τον Τεγέα, γιο του Λυκάονα και εγγονό του Πελασγού και ήταν από τις σπουδαιότερες πόλεις της αρχαίας Αρκαδίας, έδρα των τελευταίων μυθικών Αρκάδων βασιλιάδων. Αποτελούνταν από τους δήμους Κορυθέων, Γαρεατών, Φυλακέων, Καρυατών, Οιατών, Βωταχιδών, Μανθυρέων, Εχενιδών, Αφειδάντιων και τις φυλές Ιποθίτιδα, Καριώτιδα, Απολονιάτιδα και Αθηναιάτιδα. Στην πόλη υπήρχε το ιερό της Αλέας Αθηνάς το οποίο είχε κατασκευάσει ο Σκόπας την εποχή που άρχοντας της Αθήνας ήταν ο Διόφαντος. Σύμφωνα με την μυθολογία ο ναός ονομάστηκε έτσι από τον Αλέα εγγονό του Αρκάδα που τον είχε χτίσει. Μέσα στο ιερό μέσα υπήρχε άγαλμα της Αθηνάς από ελεφαντόδοντο, άγαλμα του Ασκληπιού , άγαλμα της Υγείας και τα δόντια του Ερυμάνθιου κάπρου τα οποία όταν οι Ρωμαίοι προσάρτησαν την περιοχή στην Ρωμαϊκή αυτοκρατορία τα μετέφεραν στην Ρώμη. Η Θεά Αθηνά ήταν η πολιούχος της πόλης και προς τιμήν της γίνονταν οι αγώνες Αλεαία. Σήμερα ο ναός δεν υπάρχει πλέον και λέγεται ότι τμήματά του χρησιμοποιήθηκαν στην ανοικοδόμηση του ναού της Παναγίας που βρίσκεται κοντά στον αρχαιολογικό χώρο.
Στην Τεγέα υπήρχε και δεύτερο ιερό της Αθηνάς Πολιάτιδος. Στην αγορά της πόλης υπήρχε ιερό της Αφροδίτης. Διέθετε Γυμνάσιο, θέατρο, Στάδιο, Αγορά και Βουλή με τριακόσιους βουλευτές. Οι κάτοικοι την περίοδο της ακμής της έφταναν τους 40.000 και η πόλη έκοβε δικό της νόμισμα.
Επιφανείς Τεγεάτες ήταν οι ποιητές Κλονάς και Ανύτη, ο ιστορικός Αρίανθος, ο τραγικός Αρίσταρχος, οι νομοθέτες Αντισθένης και Κρίσος. Οι ήρωες Αγκαίος και Έποχος, η Αταλάντη, ο Έχεμος, ο Αγαπήνορας και η Διοτίμα. Εδώ επίσης είχε γεννηθεί, κατά τη μυθολογία, και ο Πάνας.
Τεγεάτες είχαν πάρει μέρος στην Αργοναυτική εκστρατεία, στον τρωικό πόλεμο, στην μάχη των Πλαταιών, στους Περσικούς πολέμους, και στον Πελοποννησιακό πόλεμο στο πλευρό των Σπαρτιατών,
Η Τεγέα είχε αποικίσει την Πάφο, ενώ είχε συμμετάσχει στον εποικισμό της Μεγαλόπολης.
Η πόλη καταστράφηκε από τους Γότθους το 395 μ.χ. και σταδιακά ερήμωσε. Αργότερα στη θέση της χτίστηκε το Νύκλι το οποίο κατά την Φραγκοκρατία αποτέλεσε Βαρωνία. Σήμερα έχει ανασκαφεί και είναι επισκέψιμος αρχαιολογικός χώρος στον οποίο λειτουργεί και το μουσείο της Τεγέας, ενώ η ευρύτερη περιοχή, με ευρήματα από ρωμαϊκά ψηφιδωτά και μεσαιωνικά τείχη αποτελεί αρχαιολογικό πάρκο. Βρίσκεται δίπλα στο χωριό Αλέα της Μαντινείας, 10 χιλιόμετρα από την Τρίπολη.
