Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4

Bill outlines the historic developments of the Society of Jesus as St. Ignatius traveled the world to build out his mission and vision. Today’s start-up environment in Silicon Valley continues to drive the world forward with innovative ideas. Bill connects the similar themes and lessons he learned as an entrepreneur developing a technology company in Silicon Valley with that of St. Ignatius in the following TEDx talk at Bellarmine College Prep on Friday, February 3, 2017.
Bill McKiernan is President of WSM Capital, LLC, a private equity firm he founded to invest in payment and other technology companies. Prior to founding WSM Capital, Bill founded Cybersource Corporation in 1994. CyberSource became one of the largest payment processors for online business with over 300,000 customers processing over $120 billion per year. In July 2010, Visa Inc. acquired Cybersource for $2 billion. Mr. McKiernan holds a BS from Boston College and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
