Police are hunting a man who grabbed two women in a Mount Lawley driveway on January 28, indecently assaulting one before fleeing the area.

The man, described as between 30 to 40 years old, approached a 32-year-old woman from behind as she stood in the driveway of a Fourth Avenue home around 11.45pm and assaulted her.

"The woman screamed and the man fled along the driveway," a police spokeswoman said.

"The man [then] came up behind a 27-year-old woman, grabbing her which caused her to fall to the ground.

"He was last seen running down Fourth Avenue towards Beaufort Street."

Police would like to speak to anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident who may have seen the man or heard the women scream.
