Warnie's I'm A Celebrity beaten in television ratings by current affairs
Might we finally be over Shane Warne?
It seems Australians would much rather keep up with news and current affairs than watch Warnie and his camp mates get attacked by snakes and spiders in the South African jungle.
Even without reality competitors My Kitchen Rules (Seven) or First Dates (Seven) on air, Network Ten's I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! was only the eighth most watched show on TV on Thursday night with 757,000 viewers. For all the hype it was a poor result.
Nine News topped the ratings with an audience of 948,000, according to OzTAM's overnight ratings.
The six most watched television shows on Thursday were all news or current affairs.
