Severe thunderstorms hit Sydney
Severe thunderstorms with heavy rainfall and damaging winds hit the Sydney metropolitan area and parts of the Illawarra districts on Tuesday morning. Wild weather caused havoc on the city's roads and public transport with flash flooding stranding many commuters.
