'You still look like a child!' Youthful Louisa Lytton gets a backhanded compliment from Lorraine Kelly as she discusses new role in musical Grease
She is perhaps best known for what has been, up to now, a career defining role as sweet and innocent girl next door Ruby Allen in EastEnders.
But while more than a decade has passed since her departure from Albert Square, Louisa Lytton’s youthful complexion has barely altered – a fact that was not lost on Lorraine Kelly as they discussed the actress’s latest role on Wednesday morning.
Reflecting on Louisa’s forthcoming stage appearance as gum-chewing man-eater Rizzo in ‘70’s musical Grease, the Scottish host awkwardly blurted: ‘You still look like a child… Er, I mean young!’

Louisa, 27, will start rehearsals for her latest role on Monday alongside former The Wanted singer Tom Parker, who plays the iconic, leather jacketed Danny Zuko.
The two friends previously crossed paths while participating in hazardous winter sports show The Jump in 2016, during which she became the first celebrity to be eliminated.
Happily engaged to girlfriend of eight-years Kelsey Hardwick, Tom has temporarily put marriage plans on hold while he fulfills his prominent role in the musical.

Bucking the trend: Rizzo is a far cry from her former role as wholesome Ruby, but she doesn’t rule out the possibility of making a dramatic return to Walford at some point in the future
But the singer's relationship status appeared to be lost on Lorraine, who attempted to probe Louisa on the unlikely possibility of romance with her co-star.
'No not at all,' the bemused actress replied, adding: 'That threw me.'
Rizzo is a far cry from her former role as wholesome Ruby, but she doesn’t rule out the possibility of making a dramatic return to Walford at some point in the future, particularly with Lacey Turner, who plays screen pal Stacey Slater, still a fixture on the long-running show.
Looking back: The actress admitted she still has fond memories of her 20-month tenure on the Square after landing the role while she was studying for her exams
It's possible: ‘I could go back – I’m not dead!’ she admitted. ‘I left in the back of a taxi. I could go back but there are no family members there'

The actress admitted she still has fond memories of her 20-month tenure on the Square after landing the role while she was studying for her exams.
'I loved my time in the show and it was my launching pad,' she said. 'I was at school doing my GCSE’s at the time.
'I loved it – at that age, you take everything in your stride.'
Louisa will take to the stage in Grease from March 10.
