AFLW Plays of Round One

The most stunning plays from round one of the AFLW.

Simon Lethlean, the AFL's general manager of game and marketing development, said the new time and venue would ensure as many fans as possible can watch the AFLW matches.

"We feel Ikon Park is the best available option to host Saturday's matches," he said

"Following the great attendances of the opening round last weekend, we want to make sure those who wish to attend the AFL Women's matches this weekend can do so.

"We have worked closely with the venue, clubs and the broadcasters to ensure the changeover period between the two matches is appropriate."

Lethlean recommended fans take public transport to the game as there would be no public parking on the Princes Park lawn because of Carlton's family day.
