From mid-century modern and Scandi-cool, to handcrafted ceramics and tribal treasures, here are some of the best online stores to hit up for homewares in 2017.

Design Stuff

“A total want, need, must-have moment every time you visit,” says Kim Pearson, interior designer at Kim Pearson Interior Design and Decoration. Stocking well-designed homewares, furniture and art by local and international design talent, standouts include Bondi-based homewares brand Zakkia, illustrator Michelle Carlslund and Israeli print design studio Mikabarr.

Modern Times

Brimming with fabulous flights of fancy, there is something here to suit all tastes. “I am renovating,” says Alex Van Der Sluys, designer at Kip and Co., “and headed straight to Modern Times for my sumptuous leather couch – I love it!” A great spot to fossick for cool mid-century pieces, as well as eclectic furniture, art and home decor of Dutch, contemporary Australian and vintage European design.
