Rain may have poured down on Manhattan this Tuesday, but Nicky Hilton was still determined to take a walk with her daughter.

The 33-year-old heiress preserved her hairdo beneath a clear umbrella sprayed with black lettering, while baby Lily was shielded by her stroller.

Mrs James Rothschild cut a chic figure in a camel-colored coat that fell to her knees, having slicked her hair back and gathered it into a ponytail.

Not that the sister of Paris Hilton was without her wilder years, having racked up and then swiftly annulled a Las Vegas marriage to Todd Meister in 2004.

She's told E! of her exquisitely taut post-baby body: 'I really didn't gain too much weight during my pregnancy,' explaining that 'I really looked after myself and had a healthy diet, and working out.'
