'Such a cozy space!' Kourtney Kardashian shows off Reign's bedroom... complete with a family bed and hand-me-downs from Mason

The Kardashians have a flair for the dramatic when it comes to interior design.

But for her youngest child, Kourtney Kardashian managed to reign in her usual extravagance.

The mother-of-three combined soft whites with a huge fluffy rug - not to mention plenty of hand-me-downs - to create the perfect nursery for her one-year-old son.

Opening the doors to Reign's bedroom for her paid-for blog KourtneyKardashian.com, she explained how she and her older two children all slept in the room for Reign's first few months.

'I love having a daybed in this space so I can sleep here when Reign is sick or needs me,' she said.

'I slept in his room the first three months of his life (most nights with Mason and Penelope in the room, too), so a full-size daybed is amazing.'

The reality star worked with her long-time interior designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard on the room.

'Reign's bedroom is such a cozy space,' she said.

The rug which covers the floor was originally in her six-year-old son Mason's room in their previous home, as was the large vintage airplane which now hangs on the wall.

Of the rug Kourtney said: 'We ended up putting it in Reign's new room to make it cozy—which is important when you spend so much time playing on the floor!'

Another hand-me-down was a framed Mickey Mouse picture, handdrawn by Walt Disney himself. This was an old Christmas gift to Kourtney from her designer, and now hangs on Reign's wall.

Other details are more practical than decorative, with the curtains lined with blackout fabric to keep the bright room dark enough for daytime naps.

There are also baskets on the shelves for Reign's toys and books.
