Coming out of Anarchy, a PPV that left us with a lot more questions than answers, many fans can't help but wonder what is going on within the locker room of the FWL. Why did Wade Barrett save Regal from an attack from Del Rio, only to knock him out himself? Have the Hart Dynasty secured their place as the most feared force in the FWL? Why has Drew McIntyre been gone for nearly a year, and why has he returned with Antonio Cesaro at his side? What problem do the both of them have with Undertaker and Brock Lesnar? As if all the mystery surrounding this event wasn't enough, this event happens to be FWL's Proving Ground, an annual event where the legends of the past take on the biggest names of today. Only time will tell if we get the answers we're looking for, but it's no mystery that this year's Proving Ground looks to be bigger and better than last year. With the Royal Rumble looming in the distance, everyone will be looking to stand out from the crowd and secure their place in the largest match of the year. Del Rio will step in the ring once again with his rival Eddie Guerrero in a non-title match, to finally settle the score between the two. Can Eddie end his losing streak and get back on track with a win, or will Del Rio's complete domination of the mid-card continue? Antonio Cesaro vs Chris Jericho In a night full of surprises at Anarchy, none may have been as big as the attack on Brock Lesnar and Undertaker at the hands of Drew McIntyre, and a man we have now identified as Antonio Cesaro. Cesaro makes his FWL debut at Proving Ground, when he takes on the legendary Chris Jericho, a man we haven't heard from in some time. Those familiar with the independent wrestling scene will remember Cesaro and know what he's capable of, but his alliance with McIntyre and their reasoning behind their attack remains a mystery to us all. Can Cesaro make a huge statement with a debut win over Jericho, and will we get the answers we seek behind their brutal attack at Anarchy? Randy Orton vs Mick Foley in a Hardcore Match (Non-Title Match) Two men who are very familiar with each other will go head to head one more time at Proving Ground, as the legend Mick Foley goes one-on-one with the legend killer Randy Orton in a non-title match. Both of these men have gave each other hell over the past few months, and look to once and for all prove who the better man is. With MVP lurking in the title picture, can Randy Orton survive this brutal Hardcore Match and end the rivalry with Mick Foley on a good note, or will Mick Foley finally give Orton the beatdown he deserves? Eight Man Battle Royal to determine the new Money in the Bank contract holder With the news of Cody Rhodes' career threatening injury, the future of the Money in the Bank briefcase is up in the air. At Proving Ground, four legends and four superstars will get the opportunity of a lifetime as they all step into the ring for a "Royal Rumble preview" Battle Royal, where the winner will gain sole possession of the briefcase. The identities of all eight men are being kept a secret, but you can be sure that FWL GM John Laurinaitis has some big names in store for this match. Who will come out on top as the new briefcase holder, and virtually guarantee themselves to be a top title holder? Shawn Michaels vs The Miz In a match with very serious title implications, the legend Shawn Michaels looks to continue his hot streak as he takes on The Miz, hot off his big win against Diesel at Anarchy. It's no secret that both men look to get themselves into the main event picture, and a win in this match may mean big things in the future for that superstar. Which man will stand alone as the biggest threat to take down one of the champions of the FWL? Kane (c) vs Bret Hart for the FWL Championship The main event of Proving Ground looks to be the most interesting match on the card, as the dominant monster Kane looks to lengthen his reign as FWL Champion when he defends the title again Bret Hart. While the Hart Dynasty has became infamous for the controversy surrounding their wins, no one can deny their success in big matches. For the first time in Kane's reign as champion, he may be the underdog going into this match. Can the Big Red Machine overcome the odds and hang onto the belt, or will the Hart Dynasty add another title to the faction?
