'Mum is very proud of our business': Chloe Lattanzi says her mother Olivia Newton-John supports her marijuana farm business following reports she was furious at her plan

She was right by her side when she battled and overcame breast cancer in 1992.

And Chloe Lattanzi, the only daughter of Australian singer and actress Olivia Newton-John, is hoping to help those suffering from illnesses with her marijuana farm in Oregon.

The 30-year-old and her fiance James Driskill even has the full support of the Australian singer and actress as well as her father.

According to Chloe, Olivia has no qualms about he daughter's business venture, even providing financial help to get the started to buy land and build a house in in rural Oregon, in the US.

The blonde bombshell clarified to the magazine that the farm is not about her wanting to get high, but rather about her finding a career path she felt passionate about.

'Mum is very proud of our business, and thinks when used correctly medical marijuana can be a miracle product,' she told the publication.

Chloe said that her mother's courageous fight against breast cancer left her afraid of the disease, and interested at the benefits it had to offer. 

'In recent years both mum and I have learned about the healing capabilities of cannabis and seen firsthand the miraculous effects it has had on our close friends and loved ones who have [cancer] the awful disease.' 

Her plan comes after Chloe's publicised battle with drugs and alcohol, which saw her admitted into rehab in 2013 and sober for almost three years. 

Since making the move to Oregon late last year, the busty singer she has found balance and inner peace in her life away from the scrutiny and fast paced lifestyle of Los Angeles. 

'It's been two years since I've had a drink, and moving to Oregon to be closer to my family has helped me get even closer to where I want in life,' she said.

Chloe's interview comes after a previous report suggested that Olivia was furious when she found out the money she had loaned her Chloe was being used to start up the cannabis business.

'Olivia's under the impression she's helping Chloe and James get a good start to their life, but growing weed is not what she had in mind,' a family insider said in a report by New Idea.

'The last thing Olivia wants is for people to think she's invested money into what's still considered a drug by the rest of the world,' they continued. 

Aside from keeping busy with her farm Chloe continues to make music and model, sharing some of her work on Instagram where she has a large following.
