Freddie Aguilar Sings "Para sa Tunay na Pagbabago Duterte"
Ka Freddie Aguilar is best known for his rendition of "Bayan Ko", which became the anthem for the opposition to the Marcos regime during the 1986 People Power Revolution. His song "Anak" remains the best-selling Philippine music record of all time with as many as a hundred versions in 23 languages recorded throughout the world. Like many in Mayor Duterte's inner circle who are veterans of the fight against the Marcos dictatorship, Ka Freddie understands that in this current battle for the hearts and minds of Filipinos, it is Rodrigo Duterte who is the true patriot.
As the Duterte campaign heads to Tacloban City later today, we are reminded of the disaster that was Yolanda and the desperate need for real change in our country. Ka Freddie's words couldn't have been more appropriate:

Freddie
Freddie is an American television sitcom created by, and starring, Freddie Prinze, Jr. that aired from October 5, 2005 to April 12, 2006. Freddie is inspired by Prinze Jr.'s real life, growing up in a house filled with women. His lifelong friend, Conrad Jackson, co-created this series with Prinze, along with executive producers Bruce Helford and Bruce Rasmussen.
Production
Freddie, was co-produced by Hunga Rican, Excitable Boy! in association with and Mohawk Productions Warner Bros. Television. The friendship between Freddie and Chris in the show was loosely based on Conrad Jackson and Freddie's real-life friendship. It was reported by Variety on May 12, 2006, that ABC had decided not to renew the series, which was confirmed on May 15, 2006. The show aired in reruns on Sí TV in the United States, and on Trouble in the UK until the channels closed. The show also had a crossover episode with George Lopez.

Freddie Mercury
Freddie Mercury (born Farrokh Bulsara; 5 September 1946 – 24 November 1991) was a British singer, songwriter and record producer, widely known as the lead vocalist and songwriter of the rock band Queen — and widely known for his flamboyant stage persona and four-octave vocal range.
Mercury wrote, composed and performed numerous hits for Queen ("Bohemian Rhapsody," "Killer Queen," "Somebody to Love," "Don't Stop Me Now," "Crazy Little Thing Called Love," and "We Are the Champions."); occasionally served as a producer and guest musician (piano or vocals) for other artists; and concurrently led a solo career while performing with Queen.
Mercury was born of Persian descent in Tanzania and grew up there and in India until his mid-teens, before moving with his family to Middlesex, England — ultimately forming the band Queen in 1970 with Brian May and Roger Taylor. Mercury died in 1991 at age 45 from complications from AIDS, having acknowledged the day before his death that he'd contracted the disease.

Ka Freddie Aguilar is best known for his rendition of "Bayan Ko", which became the anthem for the opposition to the Marcos regime during the 1986 People Power Revolution. His song "Anak" remains the best-selling Philippine music record of all time with as many as a hundred versions in 23 languages recorded throughout the world. Like many in Mayor Duterte's inner circle who are veterans of the fight against the Marcos dictatorship, Ka Freddie understands that in this current battle for the hearts and minds of Filipinos, it is Rodrigo Duterte who is the true patriot.
As the Duterte campaign heads to Tacloban City later today, we are reminded of the disaster that was Yolanda and the desperate need for real change in our country. Ka Freddie's words couldn't have been more appropriate:

En 2008, la revista estadounidense Rolling Stone lo colocó en el puesto 18 en su lista de los 100 mejores cantantes de todos los tiempos.
Classic Rock, al año siguiente, lo consideró el mejor cantante de rock de la historia.
Por su parte, Allmusic definió a Mercury como «uno de los líderes más carismáticos y dinámicos en la historia del rock.
The Sun, que pretendía encontrar al «Máximo dios del Rock», situó a Mercury en el puesto número uno.
