A shocking video of an attempted home invasion by heavily-armed men (pictured) was released on Monday by New Mexico police. The Alamogordo Police released the surveillance camera video from the incident that took place shortly after 9pm Thursday night. The surveillance footage from a home's front porch in the 200 block of Stanford Avenue shows a woman approaching the door to speak with the person inside. When the resident opened the door, a dog ran out of the home and into the front yard. Moments later a man carrying a handgun walked up to the home and the resident quickly shut and locked the door. The man then pulled the door open as two other men, one brandishing an assault rifle, ran up to the porch. Authorities released the footage hoping to identify the individuals involved.
