An omen (also called portent or presage) is a phenomenon that is believed to foretell the future, often signifying the advent of change. People in the ancient times believed that omens lie with a divine message from their gods.
These omens include natural phenomena for example an eclipse, freak births of animals and humans and behavior of the sacrificial lamb on its way to the slaughter. They had specialists, the diviners, to interpret these omens. They would also use an artificial method, for example, a clay model of a sheep liver, to communicate with their gods in times of crisis. They would expect a binary answer, either yes or no answer, favorable or unfavorable. They did these to predict what would happen in the future and to take action to avoid disaster.
Though the word "omen" is usually devoid of reference to the change's nature, hence being possibly either "good" or "bad," the term is more often used in a foreboding sense, as with the word "ominous". The origin of the word is unknown, although it may be connected with the Latin word audire, meaning "to hear."

Omen III: The Final Conflict (originally released as The Final Conflict) is a 1981 American horror film directed by Graham Baker. It is the third installment in The Omen series. Starring Sam Neill, Lisa Harrow and Rossano Brazzi, the film tells the progression of the now adult Damien Thorn to position of earthly power, set against the countdown to the Second Coming and attempts of a group of priests to kill the Antichrist. The film was released in theatres on March 20, 1981.
Following the grisly suicide of the U.S. Ambassador to Great Britain (Robert Arden), 32-year-old international conglomerate CEO Damien Thorn (Sam Neill) is appointed in his place, an office his adoptive father Robert Thorn once held. Having fully embraced his unholy lineage and run his company for seven years, Damien now attempts to reshape his destiny by halting the Second Coming of Christ. However, Father DeCarlo (Rossano Brazzi), a priest from the Subiaco monastery where Father Spiletto spent his final days and observed Damien from afar since his adopted father's death, acquires the Seven Daggers of Megiddo that were dug out of the ruins of the Thorn Museum in Chicago. Joined by six other priests, DeCarlo plans to kill Damien while finding the Christ Child. Meanwhile, Damien becomes romantically involved with journalist Kate Reynolds (Lisa Harrow). Learning of his assassins and taking out all but DeCarlo over time, he proceeds to mold Reynolds's young son Peter (Barnaby Holm) into a disciple by playing on the boy's desire for a father figure.
Magic Affair is a German dance group. The band originally consisted of the duo, the lead singer Franca Morgano and the American rapper A.K.-S.W.I.F.T. (Burnell Keith Herring). They were founded and produced by Mike Stabb.
Magic Affair were founded as a Mysterious Art spin-off and produced by Mike Stabb, a band where Stabb himself was a member. The original band members of Magic Affair are the lead singer Franca Morgano and the rapper A.K.-S.W.I.F.T. (Burnell Keith Herring, born in 1969 in Chicago). The group's first single Omen III has been first introduced and released in 1993 under the shortened artist name M.A., which initial letters refers to both, the originated band name Mysterious Art and the upcoming spin-off band name Magic Affair. Also the singles' name "Omen III" and the debut album title "Omen (The Story Continues...)" are references to Mysterious Art's 1989er debut album "Omen - The Story" and its first two hit single releases "Das Omen (Teil 1)" and "Carma (Omen 2)". "Omen III" achieved success in Europe and worldwide, reaching #1 in the German Single chart and sold gold and platinum in Germany and Austria, and peaked #17 in the UK Singles Chart. "Omen III" was followed in 1994 by the debut studio album "Omen (The Story Continues...)" and the three singles "Give Me All Your Love", "In the Middle of the Night" and "Fire", which peaked #6, #16 and #20 in the German single chart respectively. Due to a dispute between Herring and Morgano, who wouldn't bear his macho temper, Herring was briefly replaced by rapper Alfonso Daniel Morgan. Because of no success and no material been released, Herring soon returned a few months later. That's a reason why Morgan has never been officially recognized as a former Magic Affair member.
