Five-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady and his wife Gisele Bundchen arrived in Boston Monday following her husband's historic Super Bowl victory. The pair were seen disembarking an Under Armour jet with their two adorable children, Vivian and Benjamin. Brady's sister, Nancy Brady, and her new husband Steve Bonelli, were also seen getting off the plane. After the luggage was loaded into the vehicles, the Patriots star gave a baggage handler a cash tip with a thumbs up and a smile. Meanwhile, Patriots defense coordinator, Matt Patricia (inset), made sure he had the last laugh by wearing a clown T-shirt with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell's face on it, as the rest of the team arrived in Boston on Monday. It's no secret that there's been tension between the Patriots franchise and Goodell, who penalized the entire team following the Deflategate scandal. Patricia's shirt seemed to signify Brady and the Patriots getting the ultimate revenge by winning Super Bowl LI after Goodell fined the team $1 million in 2015. Goodell also suspended Brady for the first four games of the 2016 season and denied the team two draft picks.

Lady Gaga's daring stadium roof leap was the talk of this year's Super Bowl half-time performance but in actual fact the jump was a pre-recorded segment shot days before the game began. The Poker Face star did indeed perform to a backdrop of drones shaped like the American flag before leaping into the NRG stadium in Houston - but not live on the night. Instead as the pre-taped footage rolled on large screens in the stadium and on television sets at home (left), Gaga was suspended on wires mid-air in the dark (top right). As the video stopped running, a trick of lighting and perfect timing thrust the dangling star into the spotlight (bottom right), making it look like she had just dived in for the show.

The new President was uncharacteristically silent about this past weekend's Saturday Night Live had Melissa McCarthy play White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer. According to a source close to the president, Trump was the most bothered by Spicer's portrayal as a woman. McCarthy played a belligerent Sean Spicer who makes up facts and gets easily rattled by the press.

The White House has released a list of 78 terror attacks that the press had 'ignored' following President Donald Trump's claims that the media was 'very, very dishonest'. The attacks dated from September 2014 to December 2016, all of which the president believed were 'underreported'. It included attacks in Orlando, San Bernardino, Brussels, Nice and the Bataclan in Paris. Trump claimed that terror attacks are happening 'all over Europe' but they weren't being covered. Sean Spicer told reporters aboard Air Force One: 'There's a lot of instances where I don't think they've gotten the coverage it deserved.' The comments come after Kellyanne Conway invented a so-called 'Bowling Green Massacre' over the weekend.

The presidents of Nordstrom sent an email (inset) criticizing President Donald Trump's ban on immigrants from seven Muslim-majority nations entering the United States just days before the retail giant dropped Ivanka Trump's (left on Friday) clothing line. In the note, brothers Peter (top right), Erik, and Blake Nordstrom told employees of the company that they would do all they could to help those who might be impacted by the ban while celebrating the many things the immigrant community have contributed to the retailer over the years. The Nordstrom brothers also pointed out that the company was founded by an immigrants, their great grandfather John. Two days later, the Seattle-based retailer (bottom right) announced that they would no longer be carrying Ivanka Trump's line of clothing, handbags, shoes and accessories.

The Detroit River, which winds for 28 miles from Lake St Clair to Lake Erie, is home to objects which have been dumped in the water since the city's founding. Hundreds of guns including a mid-20th century Carbine rifle , cars including a Jeep Cherokee and 1980s DeLorean, a stolen war memorial statue and a 6,000 pound anchor from historic steamship 'Greater Detroit' reflect only some of the diverse objects found. And that's not even mentioning the six 1700s-era cannons that have been found since the 1980s.

San Francisco transit janitor, Liang Zhao Zhang (left), who earned more than $250,000 in one year - $160,000 in overtime - was caught hiding for several hours in a closet (right) not working. Zhang, earned $57,945 in 2015 for cleaning San Francisco's Powell Street station. But public records released by Transparent California, show that Zhang also made an additional $162,050 in overtime, bringing his total salary and benefits that year to $271,243, according to an investigation by KTVU. Zhang's timecard data showed that he worked every day in 2015, and most days he worked overtime. BART paid Zhang for working 17-hour days for 18 days straight in July 2015. BART has never investigated Zhang's time cards, despite him earning more than $705,000 between 2012 and 2015. Over a two-day period, Zhang (inset) was spotted in the janitor's closet for more than three hours. Another 49 BART janitors who earned more than $100,000 in 2015, were not investigated or audited by the company, according to KTVU's investigation. The agency's spokesperson, Alicia Trost, said in an email that there is no future audit being considering after even after the investigation. BART administration says that Zhang's supervisor approved all of his timesheets and overtime, and they insist he is one of their best employees.

Jamie Lynn Spears and her husband watched in horror as their daughter Maddie's ATV flipped into a pond and desperately tried to save her but couldn't free her from her safety belt. The eight-year-old was eventually rescued by paramedics when the ambulance arrived within just a couple minutes. She was rushed to hospital where she remains in a critical but stable condition. Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Daniel Edwards said the accident occurred shortly before 3pm on Sunday at the family home. Maddie had been driving the Polaris ATV when she swerved to avoid a drainage ditch. That's when the vehicle flipped into the pond and immediately went under - trapping her underneath, according to the police report. The body of Catherine Johannet (left and right), a tourist from Westchester County, New York, was found on a hiking trail near Red Frog Beach on Bastimentos Island Sunday, three days after the 23-year-old backpacker took off from her hostel on nearby Colon Island to go on a day trip (inset), never to return.

On Saturday, the 26-year-old musician was arrested for a DUI after he he fled police following a minor car accident in the San Fernando Valley, according to TMZ. He is the son of actor Nicolas Cage. The police chase occurred just one mile away from the accident and ended when he crashed into a tree.

The father of murdered jogger Karina Vetrano has labeled her accused killer a 'piece of s**t' and a 'loner loser' in a seething update on Monday to her online memorial fund. Former FDNY vet Phil Vetrano (left with his daughter) wrote he was in no doubt that the man who raped and murdered his daughter six months ago had been caught and said 'he will pay for his crime'. Vetrano, who discovered her body in a Queens park six months ago, then added that the $288,000 collected on GoFundMe as a reward to catch her attacker will now be donated to her favorite charities. He also raised the possibility of a scholarship to her high school in her name to honor his daughter, who was a writer and published poetry online. This comes one day after her mother Cathy (bottom right) hurled abuse Chanel Lewis, (top right) who police say has confessed to raping and killing her daughter on Sunday as they came face to face for the first time in court.

Joanna Palani, 23, dropped out of college to join the battle against jihadis in Syria, spending nine-day stretches alone on the frontline with her Russian sniper rifle trained on Isis targets, inset. Now she is in hiding and is facing jail in her adopted country for defying authorities who banned her from fighting jihadis. A Delaware woman has admitted murdering her husband of 21 years by secretly lacing his steroid injections with antifreeze. Jamie Baker (pictured left), 47, had initially denied murdering her competitive weightlifter husband James D Baker II (right), 42, after he collapsed in their bedroom on September 16, 2013. But a subsequent investigation found that he had been slowly killed with ethylene glycol - a substance found in antifreeze - and on Monday morning Baker confessed her guilt in court, Delaware Online reported.

The western half of the island of New Guinea is rich in minerals, especially copper and gold, but its discovery has been a very mixed blessing for the local people. An upset father is searching for answers after his 10-year-old daughter was held down by two bullies who wrote 'loser' on her face using a black Sharpie marker during a school bus ride last Tuesday. Raeann Dabney (left and right) says she was held down by two Titan Hill School (center inset) girls who wrote on her face using a permanent marker in Council Bluffs, Iowa, WOWT reported. 'They asked if they could and I said 'no' and then they just grabbed me and held me down and colored on my face,' Raeann told the television station. 'I was crying and trying to move but they kept holding me down. It hurt my feelings for someone to write 'loser' on my head.' Her father, Zach Dabney said: 'She is far from a loser. I seen her cry before but not nothing like that.' He immediately reported the incident to Titan Hill Intermediate School officials who disciplined the students after an investigation was completed.

A day of gliding across a frozen lake quickly turned into a dramatic rescue mission for a group of Swedish skaters after they caught sight of a moose trapped in a sheet of ice. A shocking video has emerged of the moment the trio first notice the stricken creature thrashing wildly with its front legs sticking out of the water. In a bid to save the exhausted animal, they work tirelessly for 30 minutes chopping through a thick layer of ice with an axe to cut the creature a path to freedom. 

An engineer in Ventura, California has created a machine that holds a hot dog in front of a dog to direct it. The device sits on the dog's back and rotates the hotdog in different directions with the aid of a remote control. The engineer had all the construction and tests filmed, which yielded mixed but funny results.

A mammoth $450million (£360 million) sailing yacht was spotted leaving Nobiskrug shipyard in Germany yesterday evening to be delivered to her new owner in Spain after months of rigorous testing. The 468ft-long vessel, owned by Russian billionaire Andrey Igorevich Melnichenko, was an impressive sight to behold as it sailed out of the German Naval Yard in Kiel, north of Hamburg on Friday evening.

Hundreds of mysterious structures built into the Earth more than two thousand years ago have been discovered in the Amazon rainforest. The remarkable earthworks have long remained hidden by trees - but, deforestation in recent years has unearthed more than 450 massive geoglyphs. While little is known of their purpose, it's thought that these ditched enclosures, were once used sporadically as ritual gathering places.
