Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2013 may be found here.

Currently, some 10% of children born in Latin America and the Caribbean officially do not exist as their births were never recorded. With no record of their existence, these children will lose access to a range of services and rights. The OAS, through the Universal Civil Identity Program in the Americas (PUICA), aims to register all children born in the region to ensure recognition of their right to civil identity.
