Upgrade to the New Yahoo Search on Firefox

By Mason Ng, Vice President, Search Distribution

In November, we announced our partnership with Mozilla and have worked closely with their team to bring a sleeker, modern search experience to millions of Firefox users in the US.

We’re excited by the early response and are looking forward to continuing to work together with Mozilla to push the technology forward - improving the user experience on search and bringing the best of the web front and center.

If you’re using Firefox, it’s simple to make Yahoo your guide to the web:

  1. Click on the search icon in your search bar. Then choose “Change Search Settings”.

  2. Under “Default Search Engine” select Yahoo from the drop down menu.

We look forward to rolling out the new search experience to all browsers. To learn how to set your default search to Yahoo on any browser, please visit the Help Center.
