It is certainly a birth announcement with a difference, and it just might be the sweetest one we have ever seen.
US dad Jesse Blaze Snider posted a video to social media just moments after his wife Patty gave birth to their fourth child in the car on the way to hospital last week.
"We had the baby in the CAR on the 405! No joke. Easiest birth we've had," the excited dad wrote when posting the clip.
Jesse is clearly thrilled, if a little shocked, in the video.
"My wife just had the baby in the car on the way to the hospital," he says. "We were all a little surprised by it."
The proud husband then moves the camera to show his wife cradling and breastfeeding new daughter Parker Pryde in the passenger seat.
"We waited a little bit long to leave, I think. But the baby is healthy - and already breastfeeding!" Patty tells viewers.
The short clip, which has been viewed more then two million times since it was posted, comes to an end when Jesse explains that the traffic lights have changed and he needs to keep driving Patty and their newest family member to the hospital.
Jesse is a musician, voice-over actor and comic book writer - and also the son of Dee Snider, lead singer of 80s metal band Twisted Sister.
When he posted the video announcing his daughter's speedy arrival on Instagram and Facebook, people couldn't help but notice how incredible Patty looked despite just giving birth in the car.
"Wow, just saw this on FB and my whole mum group is in love with you guys :) Your wife is stunning and you are both so amazingly calm. Congratulations!" wrote one fan.
"Mum looks fabulous for just having a surprise delivery," said another.
