LEED or Leed may refer to:
Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) is one of the most popular green building certification programs used worldwide. Developed by the non-profit U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) it includes a set of rating systems for the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of green buildings, homes, and neighborhoods that aims to help building owners and operators be environmentally responsible and use resources efficiently.
From 1994 to 2015, LEED grew from one standard for new construction to a comprehensive system of interrelated standards covering aspects from the design and construction to the maintenance and operation of buildings. LEED also has grown from six volunteers on one committee to 119,924 staff, volunteers and professionals. LEED standards have been applied to approximately 83,452 registered and certified LEED projects worldwide, covering around 13.8 billion square feet (1.28 billion square meters).
Many U.S. federal agencies and state and local governments require or reward LEED certification. However, four states (Alabama, Georgia, Maine, and Mississippi) have effectively banned the use of LEED in new public buildings, preferring other industry standards that the USGBC considers too lax.
The Resident is a 2011 British thriller film directed by Antti Jokinen and starring Hilary Swank and Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Swank stars as a recently single woman who rents an apartment in New York City and comes to suspect that someone is stalking her. The film also features a cameo from Hammer Films star Christopher Lee, in his first collaboration with the studio since 1976's To the Devil a Daughter and his last before his death in 2015.
Juliet Devereau (Hilary Swank), an emergency room surgeon, rents an apartment in New York City from Max (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). Juliet has recently broken up with her boyfriend Jack (Lee Pace) after she caught him having an affair, but she still has feelings for him. Unbeknownst to Juliet, someone is stalking her, observing her from across the street and apparently entering her apartment.
At a party, Juliet bumps into Max and flirts with him. As they walk home, Jack follows them from across the street. Juliet attempts to kiss Max, but he pulls back. They later go on a date. A flashback reveals that Max is the one stalking Juliet. He has rebuilt her apartment to include secret passageways and a one-way mirror, which he can use to watch her.

n 2010, the Bank of America Tower in New York City received a LEED Platinum Certification. Its developer hawked it as the most sustainable in the country. The press called it one of the world's most environmentally responsible high-rise office buildings. Two years later, data released by New York City revealed that the Tower actually produces more greenhouse gases and uses more energy per square foot than any office building in Manhattan of its size. It used twice as much energy as the Empire State Building, which was built 8 years ago. So what happened? The Resident (aka Lori Harfenist) discusses. Architect Richard Jones, remodeled and expanded his house and in the process it became the only Certified LEED Platinum house in South Florida. As a result his bigger home now consumes a fraction of the electricity it did before. His 1200 SF house used about $200+ worth of electricity... his most recent bill was $27 and he is yet to reach $50 and his house is now 2200 SF.

Slaves' set at Reading and Leeds 2015 on the NME/BBC Radio 1 stage.
They page Party Guy, he pages them back with the number where's at, they let the phone ring
'Til Party Guy picks it up and says, "Behind Burger King"
Should they make another run? Their fake says they're 21, they're not sure they got enough, should they
go buy more stuff?
He says, "Forget about the stuff, they've got more than enough, they thought of everything," he says,
[Chorus]
"They've got more beer than he's ever seen
And they've got girls on trampolines
They tapped ten kegs since 9:15
And they've got girls on trampolines"
Quoth the Party Guy, he doesn't ever lie, it sounds like their scene, but they don't have a ride
So they call Ride Guy who comes by and with a sigh he lets them in his ride (Okay!)
And Drunk Guy tells Ride Guy to shut up and just drive when he asks about the stuff and about the thing
But Nice Guy kicks Drunk Guy and tells Ride Guy that Party Guy said it's party-time behind Burger King,
he says,
[Chorus]
But Nice Guy's talk of trampolines makes Drunk Guy turn green and he pukes on Jon Fee and Ride Guy's ride
hits a tree
Which causes Weed Guy to drop his seeds at the feet of Officer One, Officer Two and Officer Three
And Officer One says, "Looky here, son, I hate speeding MIP's who have seeds and hit trees,"
One and two wanted to beat 'em and kill 'em and eat 'em, but they deferred to Officer Three who said,
"I hear there's a shindig behind Burger King
And I hear there's girls on trampolines
The tree looks fine and the driver's clean
Just give them girls on trampolines"
God bless the wisdom of Officer Three
