He's known as one of the cheekiest chaps on EastEnders.

But now Danny Dyer's young son is giving his famous dad a run for his money.

The Football Factory actor, 39, has revealed his three-year-old son Arty is 'an absolute nightmare.'

Dyer, who plays landlord Mick Carter on EastEnders, said: 'It's like borrowing a baby orangutan and it just wants to eat and smash things up,' according to The Daily Star

The Cockney soap star added: 'He is a beaut but he is an absolute nightmare.

'He walks into a room and scopes the gaff to see what he's going to smash up first.' 

Dyer and his wife Joanne Mas have even dubbed their child The Terminator.

Danny, who is also dad to two girls Sunni, nine, and Danni, 20, has also spoken about his son on Channel 4's Parenting for Idiots.

He said on the show: 'With potty training Arty at the moment, it’s funny because he’s such a little cave boy.

'The other day he was running around and he’s got no nappy on and he had a [pork] chop in his hand because he doesn’t like sitting at the table.

'So he’s having an eyelash, which means slash, holding a chop just plotted over the potty and I thought what a legend, what a hero.  That’s my boy.' 

Arty didn't get off to an easy start in life, however.

In an extract from his book, the actor described watching his wife give birth as ‘an out-of-body experience’. 

Danny shares stories about his life as a father on the Channel 4 series Parenting For Idiots, which is on Thursday at 10pm.
