Catching up with Will on Nashville, after finally coming to terms with the fact that he lost Kevin (sadly, it looks like Kyle Dean Massey’s appearance last week was a one-shot), Will is ready to get back into the dating game, and he sets his sights on hot Clark Kent-ish backup singer Brian.

Sadly, Will’s gaydar is in the shop, and it doesn’t help that he goes to straight bud Avery for gay dating tips. Oh, Will. It turns out that Brian is actually hetero, so Will is left to handle things himself … yet again.

But that’s fine with me. I don’t think I could see a Will and Brian onscreen without thinking of Sonny (#WilSon or #Bronny forever!)

Celebrities mourn Prince. I still haven’t wrapped my head around it.

Bad lip reading the Democratic debate.

There’s good news and bad news from Syfy. They’ve given the go-ahead to the pilot Krypton, which is “set two generations before the destruction of the legendary Man of Steel’s home planet. It follows Superman’s grandfather — whose House of El was ostracized and shamed — as he fights to redeem his family’s honor and save his beloved world from chaos.” Now the bad news. The creator is DaVinci’s Demons hack David Goyer, so don’t expect any gay Kryptonians.

Sadly, there are two more deaths to report. Former WWE wrestler Chyna has passed away at the age of 45, and British comedy icon Victoria Wood has died at 62. (h/t Aiden)

Most Briefs lists involve the “best” or “greatest” of something, so for a change let’s switch it up, as Evil Snicks brings you The 30 Worst Music Videos Of All Time.

You’ll see debacles from major musical artists, as well as a few Youtube “stars.” Sure, it’s really easy to pick on desperate wannabes. It’s fun, too. But it proves that terrible can run the gamut from multi-million dollar productions to, well, a certain video named after a day of the week. You know the one.

At #12 is “Chinese Food” by Alison Gold.

What hath Rebecca Black wrought? Or more to the point, Patrice Wilson. Patrice is the “mastermind” behind all of these terrible amateur songs from pre-teen girls. “Chinese Food” isn’t as bad musically as “Friday,” (but that can be debated) but the video is all kinds of wrong. From the opening line “I go clubbing” (Really, you’re like 10 years old), everything about this is cringeworthy.

What the hell is up with the “make it rain” strip club hand motion when she sings “chow mein?” And don’t get me started on the Japanese imagery. But the worst part is when Patrice Wilson himself shows up halfway through as the “panda.” It’s just … indescribable.

But the most inexplicable thing about this monstrosity? It actually hit the Hot 100, peaking at #29. That says something for the state of music today.
