Cooper Investors is the latest active manager to come clean on a forgettable end to the year, after a massive rally in resources and financials wrong footed many of our best investors and left them trailing the benchmark.
A quarterly report from the $11.4 billion portfolio manager notes the underperformance of its domestic and international funds during the tail end of 2016, describing it as "a disappointing quarter and finish to the year".
