'Hot' male model competing in The Great Pottery Throw Down sparks a flood of innuendo-laden tweets from smitten viewers who want him to 'manhandle' them

A male model who is competing on a TV pottery competition has left viewers swooning over his good looks.

The Great Pottery Throw Down contestant Ryan, from Ipswich, sent fans of the show into a frenzy when he appeared on the BBC show, sparking a flood of innuendo-laden tweets about the 'hot' ceramics fan.  

One smitten viewer posted: 'Ryan can throw me down any day.' 

A contestant from The Great Pottery Throw Down won the Pot of the Week prize last night and caught the public's attention

Ryan, the male model from Ipswich, sent viewers wild when he appeared on the show to compete to be top potter on the BBC2 show

Ste took to social media to say that he was swooning over Ryan while others said that he could throw as many pots at them as he wanted

 Not only were people impressed by his looks, they also liked where he got the inspiration from for his pottery.

Ryan said on the show last night that his grandmother's apple pies were behind the idea for his design - and revealed he practices his pottery skills in her back garden. 

After saying that she made a 'mean apple pie', Sara Cox interjected and said: 'A million women's hearts just swelled at how lovely that is.'

Though the presenters were as interested in Ryan himself as his efforts on the potter's wheel, he told them he wanted to 'try not to talk too much'.

Sara then said to her fellow judges: 'That's a polite way of asking us to please leave now.'
