They're the acting couple who are usually based in New York.

But it seems Australian actress Rose Byrne, 37, her partner, actor Bobby Cannavale, 46, and their son Rocco are settling into the Australian way of life.

The family were spotted out at a Sydney park having a barbecue lunch with their friends and enjoying the summer sun as they celebrated Australia Day last Thursday.

Rose and Bobby looked happy and loved up as they joined in the celebrations.

Meanwhile, their 11-month-old son was practising his walk as he sported a baby-sized green and gold Wallabies onesie - supporting the Australian Rugby Union team.

The Sydney-born actress looked effortless and chic in her floral print, peach toned maxi dress and paired her summer outfit with a pair of strappy sandals.
