The Super Bowl is a very patriotic time in America.

But Zac Efron took his own brand of nationalism a bit too far... at least for his co-star Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson in the new trailer for Baywatch.

The new clip debuted during the Super Bowl on Sunday with a scene showing Efron sporting some very colorful bikini bottoms.

'Hell yeah,' the handsome actor replies.

But when Efron pulls off his clothes to reveal he is wearing some American flag Speedos it gets a rise of disgust in his costar.

'Whoa, whoa!' The former pro wrestler exclaims. 'What are you wearing?'

'It's called freedom,' he replies.

The Rock is not having it, and explains: 'That's a desecration.'

The film is a reboot of the classic Nineties series and stars The Rock, Efron, Alexandra Daddario, Kelly Rohrbach, and Priyanka Chopra.

It is slated to hit US theaters on May 26 this year.
