'I feel weird!' Camilla Luddington parodies Beyonce's pregnancy announcement with the help of pal Ellen Pompeo

Many were inspired by Beyonce's photo announcement that she's carrying twins.

But Grey's Anatomy co-stars Ellen Pompeo and Camilla Luddington went a bit further.

In a hilarious Instagram video, Pompeo - who's been tapped to direct an episode of the hospital show this season - plays a herself as an overenthusiastic filmmaker.

The affectionate parody sees her recreating the pop star's photo with her pregnant friend, who seems faintly alarmed by the entire process.

Beyonce revealed her second pregnancy by her husband Jay-Z on Instagram Thursday, sitting in her underwear and a green veil in front of a flowery wreath.

During the 47-year-old's own video, uploaded Friday, she'd flung a pair of white headphones about her neck and was gesticulating energetically.

'I mean, this is amazing: you're pregnant as the steth - at the same time as Beyonce!' she said, leaning down. 'When is that ever going to happen again, Camilla?'

Luddington was in Beyonce's pose, wearing burgundy and blue mismatched underwear just like the pop star and sitting in front of her own lavish floral display.

Shandra Page, who's been key hair stylist on Grey's Anatomy since 2014, worked away at the 33-year-old, who's pregnant by American actor Matthew Alan.

Looking somewhat perplexed, the Ascot native said: 'I just - I just feel a little bit weird. Don't you think you're taking this directing thing too far?'

'No, you look amazing!' cried Pompeo. 'You're glowing. Isn't she glowing?' she said, turning to look behind the camera, where multiple people said: 'Yes.'

'Okay, veil!' said the Moonlight Mile actress, and tossed the black fabric over her friend's head, cutting her off as she'd begun to speak again.

'Amazing! Great! I love it,' Pompeo decreed as Luddington stared about the room, looking as though she were silently entreating anyone to get her out of this gig.

'We can't help but act a fool #welovebeyonce,' the Everett native captioned the video, noting Grey's Anatomy executive producer Debbie Allen had directed it.

'RG. When @ellenpompeo goes rogue directing...' Luddington wrote in her own caption to the video, following up with a still photo of it being filmed.

She, Pompeo and Page could all be seen in 'character,' the mother-to-be captioning: 'Arguing over whether this is really necessary..... @ellenpompeo'.
