They've done it again! The Simpsons predicted Lady Gaga would perform at the Super Bowl's halftime show in 2012... and even that she would jump from the top of the stadium

  • Correctly predicted Donald Trump would become President of the US in 2000

The Simpsons previously predicted that Donald Trump would become President of the US back in 2000.

And the show has done it again as @KevinAbstrash was just one of many fans who noticed that they correctly predicted that Lady Gaga, 30, would perform at the Super Bowl's halftime show back in 2012.

The programme called Lisa Goes Gaga, showed the singer flying through the air while wearing a harness similar to the one worn as she performed on top of the stadium, as well as playing the piano.

Wow: The comparisons were impossible to miss as Lady Gaga performed at the famous game on Sunday night

The cartoon Gaga was also wearing very sexy knee-high boots just like the ones she actually wore.

Flames come out of her metal bra as she performs to an eager audience, while Bart and Lisa's grandpa professes his love for her.

Gaga tore the roof off of NRG Stadium in Houston on Sunday with one of the greatest Super Bowl halftime shows in history and delivered not the barnstorming anti-Donald Trump protest some feared, but a subtle message of inclusion and unity.

From the outset, Gaga served notice this was no ordinary halftime show - she began her performance from the lip of the stadium roof, an army of 300 drones forming a twinkling American flag in the sky.

Then she took flight (literally) at the end of the pre-recorded sequence.

The singer, clad in a sparkling silver bodysuit and knee high boots, then appeared to leap from the edge the retractable roof onto the stage with the help of some sturdy wires -- and the performance was nonstop from there.

And although she didn't mention President Trump once, her performance was praised as 'incredible' by Ivanka Trump afterwards.

The news comes after the show predicted the future President 17 years ago.

The reference to Trump first appeared in an episode called Bart To The Future 16 years ago and was later referenced in another clip called Trumptastic Voyage.

The iconic cartoon's creator, Matt Groening, has since said: 'Trump was of course the most absurd placeholder joke name that we could think of at the time, and that’s still true. It’s beyond satire.'

Dan Greaney, a writer for the Simpsons also told The Hollywood Reporter that the clip had a dark message behind it.

He said: 'It was a warning to America. That just seemed like the logical last stop before hitting bottom.

'It was pitched because it was consistent with the vision of America going insane.’

After he sensationally won the White House race, Clinton phoned him at 2:30 a.m. to concede she had lost.

She made the private call shortly after sending her campaign chairman to give her supporters exactly the opposite message, that it was not over.

Clinton is yet to be seen publicly.
