Taylor Swift shocks fans as she reveals Super Bowl pre-party will be her ONLY concert in 2017

  • The 27-year-old rocked the stage at the DirectTV Super Saturday Night Concert
  • But she shocked the crowd as she announced it may be her only 2017 concert

Taylor Swift wowed as she took to the stage at a pre-Super Bowl party in Houston, Texas on Saturday night.

But the 27-year-old songstress shocked fans as she announced that it may be the only set she performs in 2017.

She performed at the DirectTV Super Saturday Night Concert at Club Nomadic - and she sang her newest single live for the first time.

During the set, she stopped and said: 'As far as I know I'm only doing one show in 2017, and as far as I know, this is that show,' she said. 'You are attending 100 percent of my tour dates.' 

She hasn't revealed why she is limiting her plans.

She also made some references to football during the 90-minute show, telling the crowd about her early country-turned-pop hit, 'You Belong With Me,' with lyrics about high school cheerleaders, bleachers and boys.

'I felt like it might be appropriate,' she said. 

Swift mostly performed songs from her Grammy-winning 2014 album '1989' and 2012's 'Red,' including pop smashes like 'Shake It Off,' ''Blank Space,' ''Bad Blood,' ''Style,' ''We Are Never Getting Back Together,' ''22' and 'I Knew You Were Trouble.'

'It's good to be in Houston, Texas tonight,' she yelled.

The long-sleeved one piece featured a black sequins and a fringed hem which was perfect to shake and shimmy across the stage.

While made from sheer fabric, the singer did not reveal too much, as she wore it with high waisted panties and a bandeau bra.

Making her gorgeous pins look even more never ending, the Shake It Off hitmaker wore a black sequined high heeled boots.

Sticking to her signature style, Taylor wore lashings of red lipstick.

While she danced her way across the stage wowing a star studded crowd, backstage the singer had two VIPs waiting for her.

Aside from her usual entourage, Taylor brought along her two cats Meredith and Olivia.

The VIPs - Very Important Pussycats - made themselves right at home spreading out across the seats set up for the star's human crew.

Prior to going on, Taylor filmed the two cats as she scolded them for taking up all the space.

Neither seemed too concerned or like they were about to move for anyone.

'My question is this why won't you guys share a chair? You guys, there are people in this room... There are more people then cats and yet you have decided it is going to be,' Taylor said in the video.
