Nice (/ˈniːs/, French pronunciation: [nis]; Niçard Occitan: Niça [classical norm] or Nissa [nonstandard], Italian: Nizza or Nizza Marittima, Greek: Νίκαια, Latin: Nicaea) is the fifth most populous city in France, after Paris, Marseille, Lyon and Toulouse, and it is the capital of the Alpes Maritimes département. The urban area of Nice extends beyond the administrative city limits, with a population of about 1 million on an area of 721 km2 (278 sq mi). Located in the Côte d'Azur area on the south east coast of France on the Mediterranean Sea, Nice is the second-largest French city on the Mediterranean coast and the second-largest city in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region after Marseille. Nice is about 8 miles (13 km) from the principality of Monaco, and its airport is a gateway to the principality as well.
The city is called Nice la Belle (Nissa La Bella in Niçard), which means Nice the Beautiful, which is also the title of the unofficial anthem of Nice, written by Menica Rondelly in 1912.

Dixie Chicks
Dixie Chicks is an American country music band which has also crossed over into other genres, including pop and alternative country. The band is composed of founding members (and sisters) Martie Erwin Maguire and Emily Erwin Robison, and lead singer Natalie Maines. The band formed in 1989 in Dallas, Texas, and was originally composed of four women performing bluegrass and country music, busking and touring the bluegrass festival circuits and small venues for six years without attracting a major label. After the departure of one bandmate, the replacement of their lead singer, and a slight change in their repertoire, Dixie Chicks soon achieved commercial success, beginning in 1998 with hit songs "There's Your Trouble" and "Wide Open Spaces".
On March 10, 2003, during a London concert, nine days before the March 19, 2003 invasion of Iraq, lead vocalist Maines told the audience: "We don't want this war, this violence, and we're ashamed that the President of the United States (George W. Bush) is from Texas". The positive reaction to this statement from the British audience contrasted with the negative reaction including boycotts that ensued in the US, where the band was denounced by talk-show conservatives, while their albums were discarded in public protest.

Nico & Vinz
Nico & Vinz are an African-Norwegian group singing and songwriting duo composed of Kahouly Nicolay "Nico" Sereba from Holmlia, Oslo and Vincent "Vinz" Dery from Lambertseter, Oslo. They formed in 2009 as Envy and are based in Oslo. They changed their name to Nico & Vinz in January 2014 after the international success of "Am I Wrong".
Music career
2010–11: Formation and debut mixtape
Nico Sereba of Norwegian-Ivorian origin and Vincent Dery of Norwegian-Nigerian origin created their music as a fusion of genres as diverse as pop to reggae to soul, having been exposed by the various musical influences of their parents with whom they did recurring trips to the West Coast of Africa. The duo was launched as Envy with its main debut appearance at Emergenza Festival in 2011. They won first place at the Taubertal Open Air Festival World's "Emergenza Final" for new emerging artists. Following that success, the duo released the mixtape Dreamworks: Why Not Me under the name Envy. The materials were also made available online through WiMP.

The magnificent Promenade Des Anglais was named after the resort's former large contingent of English visitors and was built during the 19th century.
The historical centre of the city, Vielle Ville, has become the home of Arabian immigrants, thus couscous features prominently on the menu. The old fish market is the most beautiful on the entire Côte d'Azur and its traditional displays of seafood are a feast to the eye.
The Russian Tsars also spent much time in Nice and around 1900, a Russian Orthodox Church was built. With its six eye-catching onion-shaped domes, it was designed by the Russian architect, Preobrajensky, and is the most beautiful example of its kind in the western hemisphere. The foundations of the building were designed in the shape of a Greek crucifix and the interior features a remarkable collection of Russian icons.
A good way to visit numerous places of interest is by taking a journey on a small sightseeing train known as the Azur Express.
Just outside Nice, there are some remarkable Roman ruins and a villa on the excavated site contains the Matisse Museum that features each of the famous artist's sculptures.

Actually we like Nice much more than Paris. Monaco, meh... we are not too sure yet. It may take another couple of trips.

UEFA Euro 2016 the Allianz Riviera stadium will be known as the Stade de Nice for the UEFA competition. The stadium is one of the venues for the UEFA Euro 2016 event and is scheduled to host the following soccer matches:
12 June 2016 - 1800 Poland v Northern Ireland (Group C)
17 June 2016 - 2100 Spain v Turkey (Group D)
22 June 2016 - 2100 Sweden v Belgium (Group E)
27 June 2016 - 2100 Runner-up Group B v Runner-up Group F (Round of 16)
The multi-use stadium in Nice, France is used mostly for soccer matches of host team OGC Nice and also for occasional home matches of rugby union club Toulon. The stadium has a capacity of 35,624 people but it is capable of accommodating up to 45,000 spectators for concerts, operas and large-scale shows. The stadium's opening was on 22 September 2013. The stadium also houses the Musee National de Sport a collection of greatest sporting exploits from each era displayed through an innovative and immersive indoor display. See the football used in the World Cup 1998 final, Marcel Cerdan's gloves, Jean-Claude Killy's skis, Yannick Noah's racket and the Olympic torches. The exhibition includes atmospheric sound installations, film projections and interactive challenges included an F1 car to test your driving skills.

Nice airport, the gateway to the Cote d'Azur, is the second busiest in France after Paris in terms of traffic.
High-speed and express trains (TGV and Corail) connect Nice and the Cote d'Azur to the rest of France and major European cities. The TGV Méditerranée completes the journey from Paris to Nice in approx. 5 hours 30 minutes, arriving in the heart of Nice. The city has three railway stations, from west to east: Saint-Agustin, Nice Ville and Riquier.
The port, overlooked by Château de Nice, is France's second busiest destination for cruise ships. Ferries also connect Nice to Corsica.

Kangaroo horde during bike ride
I am Ben, and we certainly aren't kangaroos. We uploaded this cool video showing the safety of cyclist Ben who is safe and unharmed. Kangaroos are nice animals who don't gather like hordes and attack people, they coexist with people and never attack them. This video is proof. If you have the Morphe 35O, you don't NEED this palette. All the shades in the Kyshadow Bronze Palette are basically in the 35O but if you are a sucker for packaging like me or you just want to support Kylie, this palette is very nice! I am someone who can never have enough warm shadows. Warm shadow palettes are like my version of Pokemon Go. Gotta Catch em all!

He is also a talented singer. He has released numerous albums in Asia. His music is normally heard in the outtakes of his HK movies. Jackie Chan personally holds two Guinness World Records that were awarded to him December 5, 2012. His Opera Academy "brothers" include Sammo Kam-Bo Hung, Biao Yuen, Corey Yuen, Wah Yuen, and Yuen Man Meng.

Jackie Chan (Джеки Чан, born Chan Kong-sang, 陳港生; 7 April 1954) is a Hong Kong martial artist, actor, film director, producer, stuntman, and singer. In his movies, he is known for his acrobatic fighting style, comic timing, use of improvised weapons, and innovative stunts, which he typically performs himself. Chan has been training in Kung fu and Wing Chun. He has been acting since the 1960s and has appeared in over 150 films. He is best friends with Sylvester Stallone and he is good friends with Steven Seagal and James Lew. He worked with Bruce Lee as a stunt coordinator.
He is also a talented singer. He has released numerous albums in Asia. His music is normally heard in the outtakes of his HK movies. Jackie Chan personally holds two Guinness World Records that were awarded to him December 5, 2012. His Opera Academy "brothers" include Sammo Kam-Bo Hung, Biao Yuen, Corey Yuen, Wah Yuen, and Yuen Man Meng.
Has played 7 characters more than once in the movies: Wong fei-Hung from Drunken Master films, Asian Hawk from Armour of God films, Monkey voice from Kung Fu Panda films, Lee from Rush Hour films, Chan Ka Kui from Police Story films, Dragon Ma Yue Lung from 'A' gai wak films and Muscles from Lucky Stars films.
Eight directors cast him at least twice in their films: Sammo Kam-Bo Hung, Stanley Tong, Gordon Chan, Benny Chan, Brett Ratner, Ding Sheng, Yen-Ping Chu and Wei Lo.

I have had this video sitting here for over a week but I wasn't sure I wanted to post it.
Because.....I seem like a negative Nancy. HA! And then I thought frig it! It was how I was feeling at the time and I never hold back in my videos so why start now?
What you see is what you get with me. I don't put on a 'goody two shoes' facade on YouTube or social media. I am who I am....I curse, I will yell and then I am done! LOL! I tend to vent the minute I am annoyed and then I move on. What is good about that is that I am NEVER stressed because I get it all out in the moment. What is bad about it is that people think I am 'rude' or 'negative' or 'not nice'.
But then here is my question for you....who decided that everyone needs to be nice ALL the time? And why should I fake it to make someone else feel warm and cozy while my feelings fester inside?
I hope I didn't come off too surly :)

Trek-Segafredo's Riccardo Zoidl put his climbing prowess on display on stage 4 of the Tour of Croatia, taking out the win on the mountain top finish with an attack from just over a kilometer from the summit.
The Austrian may have won the stage, but it was Synergy Baku who claimed the race lead with Croatian Matija Kvasina, who was second on the stage at 28 seconds. Victor de la Parte (CCC Sprandi Polkowice) was third.
Kvasina leads the race by 19 seconds over Zoidl, with Radoslav Rogina (Adria Mobil) in third ahead of the team time trial.
“On paper Baku is just a small team, but we have proven that with teamwork we can achieve great results," Kvasina said. "It is a small team with a huge heart and soul. Nothing would have been possible today without this amazing team.
“Special thanks to Kirill, who gave his best for me the whole day and in crucial moments. I am forever thankful and hope that I can return the favor to the whole team. It is nice to lead my homeland race and we will fight for it until the end.”
For Zoidl, it was his first win in three years - his last came in the 2013 Croatia - Slovenia race. "This victory means a lot to me because this year I had a lot of troubles in the beginning of the season," Zoidl said. "Just to continue this week with a victory - we have already two - it is incredible. Thanks to the team, they rode the last 50k amazingly. I'm really happy."
The final climb was 22km long, beginning gradually but having several steep sections. Pacing was key to the stage win, he said.
"I knew that it was a really long climb and you had to pace it, and wait and wait. My director said to wait until the last moment. With 5km to go I tried to split it a little bit and then there were three guys. I felt good, so I decided to go a little bit early with 2k to go, and it worked out. It's an amazing day for me."
Zoidl might have been in the race lead but for a 51 second loss on stage 2 when he was caught behind a crash, but now the Trek-Segafredo team will have to make up the 19 second gap to Kvasina in tomrorrow's team time trial.
"It was a pity I lost 50 seconds on the second stage with the crash. But we're really motivated now after this third victory and we'll go full gas tomorrow."
How it unfolded
It didn't take long for the race leader Giacomo Nizzolo (Trek-Segafredo) and fellow sprinters like Mark Cavendish (Dimension Data) to be jettisoned from the peloton on the lumpy start to the 122.1km stage to the summit at Vojak - a day with 3,000m of accumulated climbing.
Eight riders made the breakaway of the day: Artem Ovechkin (Gazprom-Rusvelo), Scott Davies (Team WIGGINS), Alessandro Tonelli (Bardiani CSF), Daniel Turek (Cycling Academy), Brecht Dhaene (Veranda's Willems), Sondre Holst Enger (IAM Cycling), Javier Megias (Novo Nordisk), and Domen Novak (Adria Mobil).
On the 22km final climb, the breakaway was caught by a reduced Tinkoff-led peloton, but Holst Enger put in one last ditch effort to go clear - but with 7km to go the Norwegian was brought back and quickly dropped under the pace of the Synergy Baku and CCC Sprandi Polkowice riders.
Felix Grosschartner (CCC Sprandi Polkowice) put in a dig with 4km to go, but Trek's Riccardo Zoidl shut him down and kept the pace high, splitting a small group off the front with Victor de la Parte (CCC Sprandi Polkowice) and Croatian Matija Kvasina (Synergy Baku). They were chased by Jesper Hansen (Tinkoff) and Radoslav Rogina (Adria Mobil).
Hansen left Rogina behind and made it across to the three leaders as they neared the crest of the climb, but soon Zoidl put in the fatal blow next to the rocky cliff face near the top.

Zoidl might have been in the race lead but for a 51 second loss on stage 2 when he was caught behind a crash, but now the Trek-Segafredo team will have to make up the 19 second gap to Kvasina in tomrorrow's team time trial.
"It was a pity I lost 50 seconds on the second stage with the crash. But we're really motivated now after this third victory and we'll go full gas tomorrow."
How it unfolded
It didn't take long for the race leader Giacomo Nizzolo (Trek-Segafredo) and fellow sprinters like Mark Cavendish (Dimension Data) to be jettisoned from the peloton on the lumpy start to the 122.1km stage to the summit at Vojak - a day with 3,000m of accumulated climbing.
Eight riders made the breakaway of the day: Artem Ovechkin (Gazprom-Rusvelo), Scott Davies (Team WIGGINS), Alessandro Tonelli (Bardiani CSF), Daniel Turek (Cycling Academy), Brecht Dhaene (Veranda's Willems), Sondre Holst Enger (IAM Cycling), Javier Megias (Novo Nordisk), and Domen Novak (Adria Mobil).
On the 22km final climb, the breakaway was caught by a reduced Tinkoff-led peloton, but Holst Enger put in one last ditch effort to go clear - but with 7km to go the Norwegian was brought back and quickly dropped under the pace of the Synergy Baku and CCC Sprandi Polkowice riders.
Felix Grosschartner (CCC Sprandi Polkowice) put in a dig with 4km to go, but Trek's Riccardo Zoidl shut him down and kept the pace high, splitting a small group off the front with Victor de la Parte (CCC Sprandi Polkowice) and Croatian Matija Kvasina (Synergy Baku). They were chased by Jesper Hansen (Tinkoff) and Radoslav Rogina (Adria Mobil).
Hansen left Rogina behind and made it across to the three leaders as they neared the crest of the climb, but soon Zoidl put in the fatal blow next to the rocky cliff face near the top.

If you have watched many of my videos you already know I have salt in my veins and sand between my toes. I am always searching for that one particular beach where I could really chill out. Who doesn’t like a nice pleasant view and cool sea breezes right?
Well the truth is dozens of beaches line the Gulf of Thailand, which is where most of Thailand's coastline exists. Whatever your tastes whether parties and entertainment, luxury hotels and spa services or seclusion and privacy, a beach that meets your needs is on the Gulf of Thailand.
The beaches of Cha-am and Hua Hin are popular with throngs of weekending Thais escaping from the capital. They are fast becoming crammed with condos, high-rise hotels and bars, not to mention a large population of foreign tourists and expats.
For me I prefer quieter beaches a little further south like the little resort communities of Pak Nam Pran and Sam Roi Yot, Also worth checking out is Prachuap Khiri Khan, which has a lovely bay in front and flanked by an appealing beach and also worth noting is laid-back, lightly developed Ban Krud and Bang Saphan.
Even further down we have the beaches around Chumphon which include Hat Thung Wua Laen and Hat Sai Ri.
The Gulf coast has a slightly different climate from the Andaman coast and much of the rest of Thailand. So are there places that aren’t too over developed that are conducive for a RIPper to live a great retirement lifestyle? Well I am out to see what a few of these beaches have to offer. So come along with me and let’s check them out and see.
