'When I was half my age and weight'! David Walliams, 45, looks virtually unchanged as he shares nostalgic black and white throwback snap aged just 22

He's currently in Manchester judging Britian's Got Talent.

And it appeared David Walliams was feeling a little nostalgic this week, as he posted a throwback snap of him aged 22.

The Little Britain star, 45, shared the black and white picture to his Instagram, and looked almost unchanged- despite the over twenty-year age gap.

Mini-me! David Walliams appeared to be feeling a little nostalgic this week, as he posted a throwback snap of him aged 22

The monochrome snap sees David sporting raven hair and a slim face, holding a blackboard sign with his name up in front of him.

'When I was half my current age and weight,' he captioned the snap.

'Haven't changed 1 bit x', one user wrote, 'Still look the same now David you haven't changed at all and you are definitely the most funniest person in the world too', another superfan added.

Meanwhile David and Simon Cowell looked dapper as they tried to match up to their female counterparts as the Britain's Got Talent auditions kicked off on Friday.

The media mogul, 57, and the actor put on a suave display as they left the audition venue.

Sporting a navy sweater and jeans, Cowell cut a casual display as he greeted fans outside the venue.

And David put on a more smart appearance teaming a checked navy suit with a pale pink shirt.

Presenters Ant and Dec also scrubbed up well, continuing the chic navy uniform.

The BGT auditions got underway last Saturday in London, and will next head to Manchester in order to hunt for the most unique talent around the country - who will be honoured with the prize of performing at the annual Royal Variety Performance.

A dog act has won the popular reality show twice across its ten-series span - with Ashleigh and Pudsey taking the prize in 2012, before Jules and her pooch Matisse became champions in 2015.

However the most recent series in 2016 was won by magician Richard Jones, who paid an emotional tribute to the Armed Forces during his performance at the Royal Variety.

Last month, it was reported that bosses of the ITV show have now been forced to start travelling the nation in search of participants following a dip in applications.

Show producer Charlie Irwin told the Daily Star: 'We have to make the show more accessible now. We have to go to people to encourage them to audition.'

'A lot of the time people won't come to us anymore. We need to go everywhere in the UK to encourage people to audition.'

Added fellow producer Clair Breen: 'It gets 100% harder each year. The biggest brief is 'Find something that we have not seen before' or 'Get something we have seen and we can put a twist on it'.

'It is really tough as there are tons of talent shows. It is not easily done.'
