The stepfather of Shannon Matthews who was jailed for child sex offences has been photographed for the first time since her fake kidnap.
Craig Meehan, 30, is the ex-boyfriend of Shannon's mother, Karen Matthews, and was spotted walking next to a woman just two miles from where the youngster was found.
The former fishmonger walked to a local newsagents to purchase lager and scratchcards before heading home, according to the Sunday People.
In 2008, police launched a desperate search after Shannon did not return to her home in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire.
A £50,000 reward was put up after she disappeared and her mother made emotional appeals on the television.
However, just weeks later it was revealed that her kidnap was staged.
Ms Matthews admitted she arranged for it to happen in a bid to receive the reward money for finding her.
Her daughter was discovered on March 14, 2008 - less than a month after she was reported missing - at a house in Batley Carr, one mile from Dewsbury.
The home where she was found belonged to Michael Donovan, now 49, who is the uncle of Mr Meehan.

Matthews and Donovan were arrested and went on trial at Leeds Crown Court before being convicted of kidnap, false imprisonment and perverting the course of justice.
They were both jailed for eight years.
Mr Meehan was convicted of possessing child pornography after it was found on his computer, but he was not involved in the kidnapping plot.
He was photographed just before a new drama about the fake kidnap is due to be aired on BBC One.
The programme, called The Moorside, is a two-part series which is based on the kidnap.
The drama stars Bafta-winning actress Sheridan Smith as Karen's friend Julie Bushby, while Game of Thrones actress Gemma Whelan plays Karen herself.
