She has eight Grammy Awards, twelve Billboard Music Awards, a Fashion Icon lifetime achievement award, 200 million worldwide records sales, and a day named after her in Barbados.

But Rihanna only really considered herself successful as of Thursday night, when after Mariah Carey tried on a pair of her shoes.

The diva posted her most Mariah Carey picture of the year so far, as she worked out in a gym wearing a Letterman jacket, corset-style bodysuit, fishnet stockings... and a pair of FENTYxPUMA lace-up heels.

'Yo I made it!!! @mariahcarey in #FENTYxPUMA' the Barbadian excitedly captioned as she reposted the pic. 

 Riri meanwhile was making fashion statements of her own as she headed for a night out in New York City.

She rocked a biker chic ensemble in a moto leather jacket, black jeans and shiny silver stilettos.

With her hair in a tight bun and her lips in a bold red, the singer finished the look off in an enormous pair of gold hoop earrings.

In a 2015 interview with I-D.vice.com, Rihanna admitted the song that made her want to pursue a career in music was Mariah's Vision Of Love.

For her part Mariah - who's not averse to dishing out shade to lesser mortals - only had good things to say about the Good Girl Gone Bad when she was informed of that fact.

Rihanna looked her usual stunning yet edgy self when she was spotted during an evening out on the town. She dressed up her Trapstar sweatpants and hoodie with a pair of glittery heels by Balenciaga and accessorized with a Celini nano bag and oversized hoop earrings.

Topping off her look was a leather jacket also by Balenciaga. The too-cool-for-school number featured asymmetrical zippers, a mini front pocket and a belted waistline.
