Here is step by step what to do:
This is the step-by-step process to get your audio back:
1) Go to "My Videos".
2) Select "Resolve Copyright" on the video you are having copyright issues with. OR, go to the video itself and choose "resolve copyright" from there.
3) Scroll down and pick the option "I want to learn more about this dispute process".
4) Scroll down and pick the option "Take me to the dispute form".
5) Pick option #2 and PASTE the following statement into the text bar next to it;
Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statute that might otherwise be infringing. Non-profit, educational or personal use tips the balance in favor of fair use."
6) Fill out the rest of the info on the page. Use your YouTube name where it asks for it. Choose "Continue" when all information has been filled out.
7) Scroll down on the next page and select "Submit dispute".

Volley #4, with some new information for you folks about the WMG situation, and what I believe we should be doing in all this. The thing that's humorous to me in all this is that I'm being contacted by a lot of places asking for interviews or information like I'm the "leader of the revolution" here. Ya wear a camo jacket and suddenly you're leading revolutions? good thing I'm not wearing the beret...
But this is a little bit of a rant, and a little bit of a "we need to make a social revolution". I may make a second video with the stuff I left out of this one because I left out a good 5-6 minutes of "who to talk to" and "what to do", but something tells me you all pretty much know that part already. Keep the fax machines humming at WMG and Google/YouTube. Social engineering isn't fast, but the results are so much better than brute force.
The other thing I'm finding interesting is that YouTube has stopped e-mailing me about audio takedowns, and they're just muting things without the courtesy of letting me know about it. So if one of my educational vids is muted, please let me know here? Thank you much!

1950s and 1960s

In order to prevent any repetition of its actors recording for rival companies, and to also capitalize on the music business, Warner Bros. Records was created. In 1963, Warner purchased Reprise Records, which had been founded by Frank Sinatra three years earlier so that he could have more creative control over his recordings. With the Reprise acquisition, Warner gained the services of Mo Ostin, who would be mainly responsible for the success of Warner/Reprise.

This is the step-by-step process to get your audio back:
1) Go to "My Videos".
2) Select "Resolve Copyright" on the video you are having copyright issues with. OR, go to the video itself and choose "resolve copyright" from there.
3) Scroll down and pick the option "I want to learn more about this dispute process".
4) Scroll down and pick the option "Take me to the dispute form".
5) Pick option #2 and PASTE the following statement into the text bar next to it;
Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statute that might otherwise be infringing. Non-profit, educational or personal use tips the balance in favor of fair use."

Volley #4, with some new information for you folks about the WMG situation, and what I believe we should be doing in all this. The thing that's humorous to me in all this is that I'm being contacted by a lot of places asking for interviews or information like I'm the "leader of the revolution" here. Ya wear a camo jacket and suddenly you're leading revolutions? good thing I'm not wearing the beret...
But this is a little bit of a rant, and a little bit of a "we need to make a social revolution". I may make a second video with the stuff I left out of this one because I left out a good 5-6 minutes of "who to talk to" and "what to do", but something tells me you all pretty much know that part already. Keep the fax machines humming at WMG and Google/YouTube. Social engineering isn't fast, but the results are so much better than brute force.
The other thing I'm finding interesting is that YouTube has stopped e-mailing me about audio takedowns, and they're just muting things without the courtesy of letting me know about it. So if one of my educational vids is muted, please let me know here? Thank you much!
