We love our spicy food in the Tamang Family so I knew we had to do the Spicy Noodle Challenge. I think the noodle itself had a kick but it was very sweet. I think a normal Chili loving human could handle it. If you want to try it you can buy them in Amazon. I wanted to add more hot sauce to it because I knew it couldn't phase these girls. My mom has trained us to eat hot food. I would however caution you guys to try the Dalla pickle sauce. My mom bought that from a Nepali store in Colorado. Just the pint of oil from is like a Volcano lava. Steve was tearing up when he tried it. We call that chili Jyan mara or Dalle in my Country. My mom can eat the whole Dalle but I am not in her level and probably never will. How high is your spice level?!!! Pungency

Pungency is the condition of having a strong, sharp smell or taste that is often so strong that it is unpleasant.Pungency is the technical term used by scientists to refer to the characteristic of food commonly referred to as spiciness or hotness and sometimes heat, which is found in foods such as chili peppers.

The term piquancy /ˈpiːkənsi/ is sometimes applied to foods with a lower degree of pungency that are "agreeably stimulating to the palate." Examples of piquant food include mustard and some strongly flavored tomatoes, as well as most foods that might be called "well-spiced."

Terminology

The terms "pungent" ⁱ/pʌndʒənt/ and "pungency" are rarely used in colloquial speech but are preferred by scientists as they eliminate the potential ambiguity arising from use of the words "hot" and "spicy", which can also refer to temperature and the presence of spices, respectively.

For instance, a pumpkin pie can be both hot (out of the oven) and spicy (due to the common inclusion of spices such as cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, mace, and cloves), but it is not pungent. (A food critic may nevertheless use the word "piquant" to describe such a pie, especially if it is exceptionally well seasoned.) Conversely, pure capsaicin is pungent, yet it is not naturally accompanied by a hot temperature or spices.

Chicken sandwich

A chicken sandwich is a sandwich which typically consists of a boneless, skinless breast of chicken served between slices of bread, on a bun, or on a roll.

Composition

The sandwich usually consists of a chicken filet or patty, toppings and bread. The chicken can be deep fried, grilled, or roasted, and white or dark meat chicken can be used. Shredded chicken in one form or another, such as chicken salad, can also be used in chicken sandwiches. Wrap versions of the sandwich can also be made, in which the ingredients are rolled up inside a flatbread, such as a tortilla.

Open-faced versions of the sandwich, which feature hot chicken served with gravy on top of bread, are also common variations.

Varieties

Chicken burger

Some establishments serving hamburgers also serve chicken sandwiches, to give customers an alternative to beef. Such a sandwich may also be called chicken on a bun or chicken burger, and is served on a hamburger bun with similar condiments and toppings as found on hamburgers. While most chicken sandwiches in this context usually use fried or grilled chicken breasts, a chicken burger may also be made of a grilled patty of ground chicken.

Sriracha sauce

Sriracha (Thai: ศรีราชา, [sǐː rāː.t͡ɕʰāː]) is a type of hot sauce or chili sauce made from a paste of chili peppers, distilled vinegar, garlic, sugar, and salt. It is named after the coastal city of Si Racha, in Chonburi Province of eastern Thailand, where it may have been first produced for dishes served at local seafood restaurants.

Use

In Thailand, sriracha is frequently used as a dipping sauce, particularly for seafood. In Vietnamese cuisine, sriracha appears as a condiment for phở, fried noodles, a topping for spring rolls (chả giò), and in sauces.

Sriracha is also eaten in soup, on eggs and burgers. Jams, lollipops, and cocktails have all been made using the sauce, and sriracha-flavored potato chips have been marketed.

Origin

The origin and history of Sriracha is debated. One report has it that the sauce was first produced by a Thai woman named Thanom Chakkapak in the town of Si Racha (or Sri Racha).

According to the Thai "Chomrom Rak Si Racha" (The Si Racha Lovers's Association) the sauce was first made in Sriracha by Burmese sawmill workers. The association interviewed 88 year-old Thawat Wiphisamakun, known locally as Ah Pae. Ah Pae's maternal grandmother had a small shop in Sriracha. The Burmese came to the shop to buy chillies, salt, vinegar, and sugar to pound in a mortar to make their sauce. Eventually she started making the sauce herself, both for family use and for sale to customers. Soon, another customer, Kimsua Thimkrachang, began to buy large quantities of chillies, salt, vinegar, and sugar. He was making the chilli sauce for sale, using the brand name, "Sauce Si Racha Traa Phukhao Thong" (Golden Mountain Brand Si Racha Sauce) with a picture of the Golden Mountain Temple on the label. Its name was "Si Racha Phanich".

Rhett and Link

Rhett and Link are an "Internetainer" duo consisting of Rhett James McLaughlin (born October 11, 1977) and Charles Lincoln "Link" Neal (born June 1, 1978) from North Carolina. Self-styled as "Internetainers" (a portmanteau of the words "Internet" and "entertainers"), they are known for their online viral videos and comedy songs, ten-episode TV series Rhett & Link: Commercial Kings for the Independent Film Channel, and more recently, their daily talk-show, Good Mythical Morning. In their 2008 documentary, Looking for Ms. Locklear, they chronicled their search for the first grade teacher in whose class they met for the first time.

The duo runs a number of YouTube channels including Rhett & Link, which has over 584 million views and nearly 4 million subscribers, and Good Mythical Morning, a talk-show posted on weekdays at 6:00 am EST with over 1.9 billion views and over 9 million subscribers (making it the 63rd most-subscribed YouTube channel). With 2 million subscribers, a third channel called Good Mythical MORE airs directly after Good Mythical Morning and is described as the "show after the show." Their fourth channel called EXTRAS – RhettandLink (RhettandLink4) is dedicated to uploading extras (BTSs, included sketches of Good Mythical Morning, etc.) and unedited versions of certain videos. As of November 2015, their fifth channel, RhettandLink5, is inactive, with only one (unlisted) video. There is a sixth channel, but it has no videos at all, and it is unknown whether or not it is official. They have also created Buenos y Míticos Días, a channel with content from their Good Mythical Morning channel dubbed to Spanish, with over 31 thousand subscribers.

Both the sandwich and fries will be offered at locations across the country for a limited time. A spokesperson told Fortune that while the sandwich was first introduced on Nov. 28, Wendy’s won’t officially announce the menu item until Dec. 5. “Sriracha has become a food staple to many and generated an extreme cult following. So when setting out to build a Sriracha sandwich, Wendy’s knew Sriracha fans didn’t want another sandwich soaked in Sriracha,” the spokesperson said. “That’s why Wendy’s went all in and took the time to build a sandwich that doesn’t just have Sriracha poured on top of it—it has Sriracha infused into every single ingredient.” Wendy’s told Fortune that this new offering is “unlike other restaurants that simply top a regular sandwich with Sriracha.” This could be a dig at McDonald’s, which unveiled a new Sriracha Big Mac earlier this month. We love our spicy food in the Tamang Family so I knew we had to do the Spicy Noodle Challenge. I think the noodle itself had a kick but it was very sweet. I think a normal Chili loving human could handle it. If you want to try it you can buy them in Amazon. I wanted to add more hot sauce to it because I knew it couldn't phase these girls. My mom has trained us to eat hot food. I would however caution you guys to try the Dalla pickle sauce. My mom bought that from a Nepali store in Colorado. Just the pint of oil from is like a Volcano lava. Steve was tearing up when he tried it. We call that chili Jyan mara or Dalle in my Country. My mom can eat the whole Dalle but I am not in her level and probably never will. How high is your spice level?!!! We love our spicy food in the Tamang Family so I knew we had to do the Spicy Noodle Challenge. I think the noodle itself had a kick but it was very sweet. I think a normal Chili loving human could handle it. If you want to try it you can buy them in Amazon. I wanted to add more hot sauce to it because I knew it couldn't phase these girls. My mom has trained us to eat hot food. I would however caution you guys to try the Dalla pickle sauce. My mom bought that from a Nepali store in Colorado. Just the pint of oil from is like a Volcano lava. Steve was tearing up when he tried it. We call that chili Jyan mara or Dalle in my Country. We love our spicy food in the Tamang Family so I knew we had to do the Spicy Noodle Challenge. I think the noodle itself had a kick but it was very sweet. I think a normal Chili loving human could handle it. If you want to try it you can buy them in Amazon. I wanted to add more hot sauce to it because I knew it couldn't phase these girls. My mom has trained us to eat hot food. I would however caution you guys to try the Dalla pickle sauce. My mom bought that from a Nepali store in Colorado. Just the pint of oil from is like a Volcano lava. Steve was tearing up when he tried it. We call that chili Jyan mara or Dalle in my Country. My mom can eat the whole Dalle but I am not in her level and probably never will. How high is your spice level?!!! Both the sandwich and fries will be offered at locations across the country for a limited time. A spokesperson told Fortune that while the sandwich was first introduced on Nov. 28, Wendy’s won’t officially announce the menu item until Dec. 5. “Sriracha has become a food staple to many and generated an extreme cult following. So when setting out to build a Sriracha sandwich, Wendy’s knew Sriracha fans didn’t want another sandwich soaked in Sriracha,” the spokesperson said. “That’s why Wendy’s went all in and took the time to build a sandwich that doesn’t just have Sriracha poured on top of it—it has Sriracha infused into every single ingredient.” Wendy’s told Fortune that this new offering is “unlike other restaurants that simply top a regular sandwich with Sriracha.” This could be a dig at McDonald’s, which unveiled a new Sriracha Big Mac earlier this month. We love our spicy food in the Tamang Family so I knew we had to do the Spicy Noodle Challenge. I think the noodle itself had a kick but it was very sweet. I think a normal Chili loving human could handle it. If you want to try it you can buy them in Amazon. I wanted to add more hot sauce to it because I knew it couldn't phase these girls. My mom has trained us to eat hot food. I would however caution you guys to try the Dalla pickle sauce. My mom bought that from a Nepali store in Colorado. Just the pint of oil from is like a Volcano lava. Steve was tearing up when he tried it. We call that chili Jyan mara or Dalle in my Country. My mom can eat the whole Dalle but I am not in her level and probably never will. How high is your spice level?!!!
