'It made me realise I need him': Her emotional stint in the Celebrity Big Brother house has helped to save Coleen Nolan's marriage, as she revealed she 'needs' husband Ray Fensome

Speaking to the Daily Star, the Irish-born singer revealed her second experience in the CBB house has helped to save her marriage.

While she explained she was 'worried' about her situation before hand, she explained the reality show has given her a fresh perspective on her realtionship with Ray.

'I missed Ray while I was in the house, which was great,' she told the paper. 'It’s made me realise how much I do need him in my life.'

She added: 'He’s working in America at the moment but when he’s back we’ll take it from there and hopefully work everything out.'

Work it out: The 51-year-old Loose Women star explained the experience has shown her how she needs the guitarist in her life, saying she want to 'work everything out' with him

After being declared the champion of the Big Brother All-Stars series, Coleen was greeted by cheers, however, there was one noticeable absence in the see of faces.

Having been open with her housemates about the state of her relationship during her month in the house, Coleen elaborated on her feelings:

'When things did happen in the house that were hard and were sad, all my housemates were brilliant.'

He's the one: Asked about how her time in the house had affected her view on the relationship, Coleen admitted: 'It’s made me realise how much I do need him in my life'

He's the one? She told the Daily Star: 'He’s [Ray] working in America at the moment but when he’s back we’ll take it from there and hopefully work everything out'

He's on tour: Clearly missing her partner of 17 years, the singer and presenter jokingly dismissed his absence: 'He’s in America so he might not come home!'

Speaking to MailOnline the morning after her victory, the star said: 'It's put a lot of things in perspective, my life is quite good - I went in for a rest and I have come out needing rehab.'

During her time in the house Coleen was more than happy to speak about the rocky stat of her realtionship with Ray, whom she married in 2007.

Speaking in the Diary Room, an emotional Coleen confessed: 'I came in here when my marriage is not great, really not great. What has been good about this is we needed the break, we needed to be apart.

'What has been nice in here is there has been so many times I have missed him.'

She added: 'It has made me realise I can be strong and whatever happens, I know I will survive it.

'And that is why last Friday when I was saved [from eviction] it meant such a lot.'
