'Watching her is making me less intelligent': Pointless viewers despair as Amy Childs botches a ridiculously easy question about crackers on the game show
- Amy Childs appeared with Sam Faiers on a charity edition of the game show
- Was asked what square shaped biscuit W and R Jacobs famously invented
- She answered 'Carr's Crackers' rather than the correct answer cream crackers
Viewers of a celebrity edition of the game show Pointless were left tearing their hair out in frustration after contestant Amy Childs' blunder on last night's show.
When asked what biscuit W and R Jacob was famous for inventing the former TOWIE star incorrectly answered Carr's Crackers much to the annoyance of viewers.
Amy, 26, appeared on Pointless Celebrities with former co-star Sam Faiers in the hope of securing a cash prize for their chosen charity.
However, it wasn't to be after the reality star tripped up on a question about savoury biscuits.
The first round asked the celebrity guests to correctly answer a variety of questions about cheese and crackers trying to score the most obscure answer possible.
Originally shown in April 2016, the repeat saw team mate Sam was able to score 43 points when she answered Stilton in the first round but Amy scored the maximum points of 100 with her incorrect guess seeing them knocked out of the game.

In response to the question 'Savoury square biscuit first marketed by W and R Jacob in Dublin in 1885' Amy answered Carr's Crackers
In response to the question 'Savoury square biscuit first marketed by W and R Jacob in Dublin in 1885' Amy answered Carr's Crackers.
The star may have been thrown off as she was given the letters 'CC' as a hint but the correct answer is cream crackers with Carr's being a completely different brand.
However, viewers had little sympathy for Amy and quickly took to Twitter to vent their frustration over her unfortunate answer.
Many people couldn't quite believe what they had witnessed, bewildered as to how the star had mixed up the brands.
The answer was, of course, cream crackers and host Alexander Armstrong (pictured) had to send the contestants home due to their incorrect answer
Others seemed to be unfamiliar with the Carr's brand bemused as to where she had got the answer from.
And while many agreed that it wasn't the most intelligent answer they had found her mistake amusing.
