He's an actor, writer, producer and a dad to four children - three of whom are under three years old!

So it stands to reason that Alec Baldwin found himself multitasking at the weekend when he went for a family walk around New York City with some of his brood.

Joined by wife Hilaria and their two sons, Leonardo (five months old) and Rafael (one), the family were trussed up to the nines against the bitter winter weather.

Out for a walk: It stands to reason that Alec Baldwin found himself multitasking at the weekend when he went for a family stroll around New York City with some of his brood

Sporting a thick winter trench coat and sturdy black boots, the former 30 Rock actor spoke on the phone as he pushed around one of his sons in a stroller.

Hilaria sauntered along in front, in a black coat, checked red scarf, shades and black gloves, also taking a call, with their newborn strapped into a papoose on her front.

At one point the quartet passed a store with a vibrant Valentine's Day display in the window. 

There was sure to be a steely silence between the couple, who will likely have less time for romance as their latest child means they have three infants on their hands.

There was no sign of their eldest child (not including Alec's daughter, Ireland, with Kim Basinger, who is 21) Carmen.

However, on Saturday the actor shared a sweet snap of his wife, 33, giving their three-year-old daughter Carmen a kiss.

The 58-year-old actor simply captioned the photo: 'Mi Vida,' which is Spanish for 'my life.' 

Hilaria was snapped wearing a heavy coat and scarf while their daughter looked adorable in a bright pink puffy jacket and a blue headband.

Last week, Alec shared a photo of Hilaria and their three children; he wrote: 'My pack...'

Alec and Hilaria married in June 2012 after dating for a year.

He has been seen recently getting involved in much of the activity protesting newly sworn-in president, Donald Trump.

At the end of January, Alec took to the stage along with several A-list celebrities at a protest in New York on the eve of the Republican's inauguration.

The 30 Rock star did his SNL Trump impression before revving up the crowd saying: 'Are we going to have 100 days of resistance?'

He then went on to call Trump and his cabinet picks a 'disgrace'.
