Supplement to the Tulsi Gabbard Analysis
In FTR #'s 941 and 942 we examined the political history and milieu of Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI), a "rising star" in the Democratic Party, one of the driving forces behind the Bernie Sanders phenomenon, and networked with Nardndra Modi's BJP and the RSS, the Hindu fascist/organization that assassinated Gandhi. A "Huffington Post" article from "Civil Beat" seemed curiously unable to find a public statement by Gabbard about her membership in a Hare Krishna cult offshoot headed by Chris Butler. She states her association with Butler, aka aka Jagad Guru Siddhaswarupananda Paramahamsa, in a readily available video. "Civil Beat" is a publication founded by Pierre Omidyar (of "First Look Media"), who helped to finance Modi's election. Read more »

- The GOP Plays the Health Care Poisonous Hot Potato Death Spiral Blame Game With Itself. Medicare and Medicaid Death Spirals Part of the Rules. Jan 28 Change is coming to Washington DC. Mostly horrible changes. But as we'll see in this post, there is one very significant and positive change coming as a consequence of the unified GOP control of the White House and Congress: GOP is actually going to start getting the blame it deserves for all the damage its pro-oligarch/anti-everyone-else agenda routinely inflicts upon the American people. Politics can be frustrating for a myriad of reasons, but one of the biggest sources of frustration is the cloud of perpetual obfuscation and confusion that tends to permeate the political discourse and collective understanding of what's actually happening, why it's happening, and who should be rewarded or blamed for it. But for the next couple of years, at a minimum, it's going to be very clear who to blame for the damage DC is about to unleash, and it's not just going to be Donald Trump. And when it comes to health care "reform" (privatization) that the GOP is about to impose upon the populace, that blame is about to get dangerously diffusive for state legislatures and governorships because the Health Care Austerity Hot Potato is about to get tossed in their laps over and over. Indefinitely. And since the GOP controls almost all state legislatures and governorships at the moment they won't be able to prevent themselves from slashing these programs. So with the coming block granting of first Medicaid and then Medicare (or maybe both together), the politics of health care is about to get weird. But it was the legendary shoes of Owens that established the Dasslers' worldwide reputation and laid the foundation for two exceptional careers. After the war, Adi and Rudolf went their separate ways. Each would build up one of West Germany's showpiece sports companies -- one Adidas, the other Puma. . . . But the history of the Dasslers --who both joined the Nazi Party in 1933 -- wouldn't be complete without one chapter from World War II: In 1944, there was suddenly a spike in the number of Allied tanks being blown apart by German fire. The culprit was the latest anti-tank rocket launcher, nicknamed the "Panzerschreck" ("Tank Terror"). This extremely effective weapon petrified Allied tank crews -- and it was manufactured in the same factory that had developed Owens' shoes only eight years earlier. . . . - The New World Ordoliberalism Part 6: The QE Taper Caper and the Portuguese Squeeze Dec 29 In this chapter of our exploration of what's wrong with the eurozone we're going to take a look at the evolving nature of the European Central Bank's (ECB's) quantitative easing (QE) program. Specifically, how the QE program was facing a set of obstacles that was going to require some tweaking to the program and how the solution to the obstacle was to basically choose the tweaks that harmed the weak, in particular Portugal. In favor of Germany, of course. Keep in mind that Portugal recently formed a left-wing anti-austerity government and has done relatively economically well since coming into power . Also keep in mind that Portugal is one of the few eurozone nations not facing a rising far-right "populist" movement as a response to its harsh austerity program. Restricts Free Speech” Nov 19 "The United States was one of three countries to vote against a U.N. resolution condemning the glorification of Nazism on Thursday, citing freedom of speech issues and concerns Russia was using it to carry out political attacks against its neighbors. The resolution entitled 'Combating glorification of Nazism, Neo-Nazism and other practices that contribute to fueling contemporary forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance,' was approved by the U.N.’s human rights committee on Friday with 131 in favor, 3 against with 48 abstentions. Ukraine and Palau were the other no votes. . . ." This was the second time in three years that the U.S. vetoed such a resolution. Supplementing our many previous programs on Ukraine, this broadcast further develops the Orwellian re-write of World War II history, as well as chronicling the deep political history of the Ukrainian diaspora, its alliance with the Third Reich and its profound presence prior to, and during, World War II. An article in “Foreign Policy”–a mainstream publication–notes the role of Volodymyr Viatrovych in turning Ukrainian World War II history on its head.
Hired originally by Viktor Yuschenko to head the Orwellian-named “Institute for National Memory,” Viatrovych decamped to the U.S. after the election of the Yanukovich government, only to return to Ukraine and resume his revisionist work under Petro Poroshenko. Recasting the Third Reich allies and genocidal collaborators of the OUN/B as heroes and rescuers of Jews during the Holocaust, Viatrovych has been complemented in his work by eduction minister Serhiy Kvit and Yuriy Shukhevych, the son of UPA chief Roman Shukhevych. (The UPA was the military wing of the OUN/B.) In Ukraine, it is now a crime to say anything critical about the OUN/B or UPA.
The measure of the revisionism underway in Ukraine can be gauged by this statement about UPA policy toward the Poles: “. . . . UPA supreme commander Dmytro Kliachkivs’kyi explicitly stated: ‘We should carry out a large-scale liquidation action against Polish elements. During the evacuation of the German Army, we should find an appropriate moment to liquidate the entire male population between 16 and 60 years old.’ Given that over 70 percent of the leading UPA cadres possessed a background as Nazi collaborators, none of this is surprising. . . .” Recounting that quote would be a crime in Ukraine!

Much of the program consists of a recounting of the Ukrainian Fifth Column in the United States and its collaboration with the Third Reich. The German General Staff had been grooming Ukrainians as allies during the closing stages of the First World War and its aftermath, culminating with the formation of the OUN as an extension of Nazi imperial designs. Embedded with elements of our military, the Ukrainian Fifth Column were actively engaged in criminal activities, including sabotage of key American infrastructure targets.
The periodical of the OUN was titled “Svoboda,” now the name of one of the key OUN/B successor organizations in power in Ukraine.
Program Highlights Include: the Pelypenko affair, in which a Ukrainian Orthodox priest and Gestapo agent disclosed the dimensions and workings of the Nazi/Ukrainian Fifth Column in the U.S.; Svoboda party member Andriy Parubiy’s elevation to being speaker of the Ukrainian parliament; review of Viktor Yuschenko’s strong ties to the Ukrainian-American branches of the OUN/B; discussion of the bogus law degree of incoming Prime Minister Volodomyr Groysman, obtained from MAUP University, the epicenter of anti-Semitism in Ukraine; review of David Duke’s role as a faculty member at MAUP; the assignment of a contingent of the Nazi Azov battalion to “maintain order” in Odessa, the site of a massacre-by-fire of ethnic Russian protesters in 2014.
