'It's all he ever wanted': Brad Pitt is feeling positive about joint custody battle with Angelina Jolie... after 'spending more time with the children'
He was said to be in better spirits last week after 'spending more time with his children' in light of his ugly divorce battle with Angelina Jolie.
And it seems things may be getting even better for Brad Pitt, who is reportedly confident that he now will be granted joint custody of the couple's children.
According to The Sun, the actor, 53, is positive that he will be granted joint care of Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 10, and eight-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne - after his estranged wife, 41, demanded sole custody last year.

The handsome actor is currently allowed supervised visitation with his kids under the terms of a temporary agreement with Jolie.
However the paper now reports that the Allied actor feels he will score a 'victory' in court, after expressing his desires for joint care.
His team are said to believe that the way Angelina has approached the situation in applying for custody alone, will not reflect well in the upcoming legal battle.
An inside source revealed: 'This is a massive victory for Brad because all he ever wanted was joint custody.

The Oscar winner has been willing to work with the Changeling star in the hope it will make the split easier on their children.
'Brad is willing to work with Angie so they can have peace for the kids,' the insider continued. 'What it ultimately comes down to is that he just wants to be with the kids.
'He seems much happier. He has missed his kids terribly. The kids are his whole world. It's all he cares about.'

Despite this positive development for the Burn After Reading star, investigative journalist and filmmaker Ian Halperin, 52, has recently revealed Brangelina's relationship will be the subject of his upcoming documentary, as reported by The Sun.
Revelations are expected to come out in the film - including the best-selling author's claim that the Hollywood duo were estranged for more than a year before their split.
Pitt and Jolie were married for two years and together for 12 after becoming close while filming 2005's Mr. & Mrs. Smith.

Brad has since been cleared by the DCFS, who found no abuse.
Now, the intensely private couple have agreed to resolve their divorce and custody dispute outside of the public eye.
It's over: Pitt and Jolie were married for two years and together for 12 after becoming close while filming 2005's Mr. & Mrs. Smith - but announced their split in September last year
They announced in a joint statement, released January 9: 'The parties and their counsel have signed agreements to preserve the privacy rights of their children and family by keeping all court documents confidential and engaging a private judge to make any necessary legal decisions and to facilitate the expeditious resolution of any remaining issues.
'The parents are committed to act as a united front to effectuate recovery and reunification.'
Brad is thought to have moved back into the family home at their Los Feliz estate after neighbours confirmed they had seen him 'there most days.'
'Brad wants to prove to the courts that he's putting the children's welfare first,' a source added.
'Obviously the family circumstances have changed dramatically, but he wants [his children] to feel at home there. He's doing everything he can to try and fight or his kids.'
